I stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Marriot at **** Airport Blvd in Amarillo Texas for two nights and it was possibly the worst experience ever. So I get there and I ask for my reservation and I only brought cash for this trip because I didn’t have time to deposit since I was rushed through airports so they declined my cash payment. So I said, okay that’s fine I have my debit card here with some money available so they charged me double the amount for my room. I only had enough for the incidentals and charge of the room but I was over charged! So when I asked the manager to help me out because I was being charged twice alongside over draft fees from my bank now she basically turned me around and mentioned that it wasn’t a hold on them and that the computer did it that way. So my boss came in as well to speak to them which was handled differently compared to the rude reaction I got from them. She was respected and all but when she brought up the issue, they told her that it must’ve been the computer that accidentally charged it this way. So she said why was it accidentally charged this way! And she didn’t know how to respond So she said that if my bank has any problems to have them call the hotel property. So I called my bank and they mentioned that they could not do anything about it because the hotel had a hold on me, not the bank. So now I’m left with a $*** over draft fee (includes the extra charges and all the fees I got from this trip!) this company is worthless. You can’t even help a guest out and fix the issues. I understand about computer glitches but please!?! Try to fix it! I was the one that ended up paying a million fees that I was not expecting. Never ever staying here again! Worst customer service!!!
