I have booked a trip to NY with both airline and hotel accommodations. Because of the recent lockdown and quarantine mandates in the city, along with the rising number of Covid cases, I am concerned for my health and safety. I am looking to cancel my trip and receive a full refund promptly. Many individuals in NYC, including family and friends, have shared about the increasing Covid cases and employers shifting towards virtual work due to the situation. Therefore, I prefer not to risk exposure by traveling to New York at this time.

Hello, I had a flight cancelled in May [redacted] due to COVID-19, and I received credit to use by December 31, [redacted]. Given the ongoing pandemic, I am uncomfortable traveling and would prefer a refund. Despite multiple attempts with Expedia, they mention the refund is held by WestJet, the airline of the cancelled flight. When contacting WestJet, they redirect me to Expedia, stating that the charge was made by them, not WestJet. The back-and-forth process has been unhelpful, leaving me frustrated. We arranged our trip to Shannon, Ireland via Expedia for June 10th with flights on American Airlines. Expedia notified us that American Airlines changed some flight segments, which did not align with our plans. Expedia has refunded the total flight costs, deducting the travel insurance. We are waiting for the refund to show on our credit card, used for the booking. The Expedia itinerary number is #[redacted][redacted], and the American Airlines Record Locator is EVIFYO. The ticket price for each of the two passengers was $1,[redacted].15, totaling $2,[redacted].30. We prefer not to reschedule until the refund is processed. I booked a car rental through Expedia for $[redacted] with Sixt from 11/29 to 12/10. I returned the car early on 12/2, and a new receipt was issued for $[redacted] by the rental company, promising a refund of the difference. Despite reaching out to them four times by phone and multiple emails, no refund has been given. Expedia has been contacted four times, but they refuse to assist, stating they are following the original contract. I have the new contract showing the reduced amount and the promise of a refund. Furthermore, I was unjustly charged an extra $74 for fuel two days after returning the car with a full tank. The rental company confirmed the full tank upon inspection and on my contract. I only drove 21 miles and have a gas receipt of $2.91 to top up the tank.

Dear Expedia Customer Service, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with a booking made on Wed., 12/15/[redacted], under the itinerary #: [redacted][redacted]. My son and I made a reservation for a motel room around 7:00 PM and arrived for check-in at approximately 9:30 PM. Despite not being informed during booking, the motel did not allow pets, which led to us being unable to check-in. When we requested a refund, we were instructed by the motel to contact Expedia. After speaking with a Virtual Expedia Agent who advised us to contact the motel, we tried again with the motel owner on site. Unfortunately, neither Expedia nor Motel Mediterraneo were willing to assist with the refund, prompting us to cancel the reservation. I booked a trip on Expedia 15 days ago with Itinerary No.[redacted][redacted]. During our stay at the Plaza Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, we had to leave a $[redacted] deposit. Upon check-out, we were informed that the deposit would be refunded within 3 to 5 days. However, it has been almost 15 days and the Plaza Hotel has not returned the deposit. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach out to the Plaza Hotel as they do not provide an email address for contact.

My flight to Las Vegas on Nov 1 was canceled, so I contacted Expedia to cancel my trip, including flight, taxi, and hotel bookings. I have received refunds for the taxi and flight, but not the hotel. Despite providing proof of cancellation to the Venetian hotel, they initially claimed they didn't receive it. After sending them the necessary documentation, they then requested proof of the airline cancellation, which I promptly provided. On December 23rd, they confirmed they agreed to issue a full refund and notified Expedia about it. I have been following up for almost three months, making numerous calls to Expedia, and handling all the communication. I am disappointed by the lack of customer service except during payment processing. I kindly request prompt assistance in processing my overdue hotel refund.

I failed to finalize a hotel reservation. It's not showing in my account, and during another chat session, no one could locate it in my records. I am looking to book two one-way tickets from NAN/Fiji to MLE/Maldives in September [redacted]. I made a reservation through Expedia for Ala Moana Hotel from December 28 to the 29th. Due to multiple flight delays and a cancellation by United Airlines, I had to rebook for the next morning. After informing Ala Moana Hotel of the canceled room reservation, it seems they still charged my account. I contacted them, and they asked me to follow up with Expedia. Confirmation: [redacted]8 Expedia Itinerary: [redacted][redacted] Complaint regarding Big Bear Lakefront Lodge On December 29th, around 10 p.m. when we arrived at this hotel, we were greeted by Laura, the owner, who shouted at us. She yelled in a crazy manner, questioning our presence and demanded we leave the parking lot in front of the reception office. I explained that we had just arrived from a long trip from Mexico and had our hotel reservation, but she insisted we had no right to be there due to the late hour. She threatened to call the police to have us removed from the hotel parking lot. Ultimately, she reluctantly gave us a room with only one bed, no blankets, just thin sheets, even though we are a family of four - my two children, my wife, and myself. The room was dirty, appalling, and had only one bed, making it impossible for us to sleep that night. The next day, I sought her out to find out who had received us and was shocked to discover that Laura was the owner. We have had a terrible time for the rest of the days due to the poor treatment by this individual and the awful welcome we received. I request two things: 1. A full refund for the 3 nights we stayed at this dreadful hotel due to the terrible service and the awful treatment by Laura, the owner. 2.
