The issue in GetHuman-briewall's own words
I booked my flights to New Orleans with Expedia for the later end of July. The event that I was attending in NOLA has been canceled because of COVID. The flights that I booked are non-refundable and I read that if I cancel them and my flight is not before April thirtieth, which it is not, I am subject to their normal cancellation fees and will not receive a refund. However, I am hoping to get around this by claiming to cancel my flights because of a schedule change that was issued by American Airlines for my flights. On both the departing and returning flight legs, there have been changes of more than two hrs, which is an issue for my schedule to begin with. I am not sure about how to go about canceling and insuring that I will receive a refund for this reason. To remedy this, I am expecting to receive a refund from Expedia but I have heard nothing good about their customer service or refund procedures.
