Eventbrite doesn't have a customer phone number that is answered by an agent. Instead, GetHuman1362588 will need to dig through the advice provided by Eventbrite, other customers and consumer advocacy websites like GetHuman. Here are some instructions we've written for similar issues- hopefully GetHuman1362588 can let us know if they help or not.

Change the default city that the site uses for my searches. I don't live anywhere near Tukwila, WA. I live in Montana, and the site won't let me change this. I would like to change it to my home town, and have the option to clear the default city so the searches pick up events no matter where they are happening. ... First off, let me say the fact that I had to go to another web site to ask my question is evidence that the help system on the Eventbrite site is terrible. Your system of only allowing people to select from a set of canned categories seems purpose built to prevent people from getting help. You need to give people the ability to send a simple email if none of the canned categories fit. My question is case in point.**I just signed up on your site today. For some reason, the site seems to put my location in Tukwila, WA. I don't live anywhere near Tukwila, and in fact had never even heard of Tukwila until I signed up on Eventbrite. I live in Montana. When I do a search, the default location is Tukwila, and frustratingly there seems to be no way to change this. I looked at my profile to see if it was set as my location, and I spent about an hour trying to figure out how to change it. This is frustrating enough that it essentially makes your site utterly unusable.**How do I reset the default location for searches, or better yet, clear it out completely so that I can just search by keyword and get results no matter where they are located?**Thanks in advance for your help with this matter.**--Tom
This seemingly small flaw makes the site essentially unusable.
Allow users to edit or remove the default location so that searches return events no matter where they are located.
I am starting a new chapter for a professional organization to which I belong, and would like to use a service like Eventbrite to help with organizing events. If this issue is not fixed, I will be evaluating other similar services.
I work in IT, and I tried everything that I can think of to fix this issue. It seems that the site just won't allow me to change this.
