I was under the impression that I would receive a refund for fees, but was later informed by another Etihad agent that a refund would not be issued. Despite EU regulations regarding flight refunds, I have not been given the opportunity to speak with the original agent who provided the incorrect information. I have contacted my bank, which is investigating the matter and has the ability to refund the fees and pursue actions against the company. By using my credit card, there is hope that a reputable company will resolve this situation and potentially alert others to the questionable practices of certain Etihad staff members.

My initial travel plan was from Toronto to Abu Dhabi, with a connection to New Delhi on July 12th, [redacted]. Unexpectedly, our flight was rerouted via Frankfurt due to a sick crew member. Despite having a short layover in Abu Dhabi, the delay in Frankfurt caused us to miss our connecting flight. We were forced to stay overnight in Abu Dhabi before being accommodated on the next available flight to New Delhi, causing us to miss our pre-arranged transportation and hotel in Kurukhetra. Etihad Airways did not provide any refunds or assistance for our inconvenience. Similarly, on our return flight from Kolkata on August 9th, the flight schedule was changed multiple times, leading to a stressful situation where my family almost missed our connection to Toronto, resulting in my mom having an asthma attack from rushing. In addition, Etihad mishandled my fragile Harmonium, an instrument of sentimental value. I am seeking compensation for these issues.

I recently made a reservation for two tickets online with "Travel Trolly" from LHR to CMB. Unfortunately, my wife's name was entered incorrectly as Mr. instead of Mrs. This error was noticed immediately upon receiving the booking confirmation. I contacted Travel Trolly and spoke with Sanjeevan from the sales team. When asked for the E-ticket number, I explained that I hadn't received it yet and provided the booking confirmation number instead. Sanjeevan instructed me to wait on the line while he consulted a team member and issued the E-ticket with the incorrect name. He then informed me that changing the name would incur a fee of £30. I suspect that the error was made intentionally to charge me for the correction. I originally completed the form with the correct title Mrs. and need clarification on this matter.

I recently booked two tickets online from LHR to CMB return with "Travel trolly" and noticed that my wife's name appeared as Mr. instead of Mrs. Upon contacting Travel Trolly, I spoke with Sanjeevan from the sales team. He requested the E-ticket number which I had not received, so I provided the booking confirmation number. After some time on hold, an E-ticket was issued with the incorrect title, and I was informed I needed to pay £**.** to correct it. I am concerned that this may have been done intentionally to overcharge me. Etihad Airways UK confirmed they do not typically charge for such corrections prior to issuing the E-ticket. I urge Travel Trolly to address this issue promptly and prevent such practices in the future to avoid customer dissatisfaction and loss of business. It is important for the company to monitor and ensure fair treatment of customers by its representatives.

I am a Silver cardholder. My flight, EY [redacted] from Seoul to Abu Dhabi on September 8th, was scheduled for 00:55. Due to a typhoon, the flight was delayed for 12 hours. I was not provided a stay in Incheon. However, more importantly, I had meetings and shopping planned in Abu Dhabi. I had already obtained the transit visa from the immigration department. The flight arrived in Abu Dhabi late in the evening, causing me to cancel all my appointments. I incurred a loss of [redacted] dirhams. We received incorrect information via email, causing us to miss our flight and leading to a distressing situation for my partner. Our trip from Cairns to Delhi via Abu Dhabi included connecting flights, but due to being rescheduled for a later flight, we are concerned about missing our connections. Hello Team, I need assistance with my upcoming travel from Dublin to India in December [redacted]. I have made separate arrangements for my journey with two different airlines. My first flight is with Aer Lingus from Dublin to Paris CDG, and the second leg is with Etihad from Paris CDG to India via Abu Dhabi. I will only have cabin luggage and won't need to check-in any bags. As an Indian citizen holding a valid Irish work visa, I've learned that Indian nationals are exempt from a transit visa requirement when passing through Paris. I anticipate getting my boarding pass for the Dublin to Paris leg at the Dublin airport. If I complete online check-in for my Etihad flight, will I be able to proceed to that flight without passing through security at Paris airport, therefore avoiding the need for a short stay visa? I've reached out to both the French and Irish embassies for clarification without success. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated in helping me obtain the correct visa. Hello, I just wanted to ensure that I haven't accidentally bid for an upgrade while browsing online. I'm worried that I may have done so unintentionally, although it would be a fantastic experience, it's not within our budget. I noticed the ticket from London to Abu Dhabi seems to have disappeared, yet I am still receiving upgrade emails for the other flights. Hello, I made a reservation to travel from Colombo to Birmingham on December 14, [redacted], with a return on December 31. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the transit visa requirement for Ireland during a layover at Dublin Airport since I already have a UK visa. Can you please change the layover to Amsterdam where I noticed there is a flight with Etihad around the same time? Hello, I have a flight booked with the reference APSUDH from Colombo to Manchester with a stop in Abu Dhabi departing on December 21st at 9 pm and arriving on December 22nd at 6:40 am. I was attempting to book a flight from Toronto to New Delhi online. I did not successfully book any flight with Etihad Airways. However, I noticed a transaction of $[redacted].74 on my card without receiving any notification or confirmation for a ticket. I am unable to find a way to contact Etihad Airways to resolve this issue. When attempting to cancel the flight online, they require a booking number that I do not possess. I am reaching out regarding a passenger on Etihad EY [redacted], Dr. N.A. The passenger's travel issue from New Delhi to London via Abu Dhabi, PNR LGEFGA, is as follows: The EY229 flight from New Delhi to Abu Dhabi on December 29th, [redacted], was delayed for over 5 hours and the ground staff was unhelpful, rude, and lacked any assistance or apologies. The passenger's connecting flight departed before their arrival in Abu Dhabi, causing distress as it is not the passenger's fault. The airline should have made proper arrangements in case of delays. However, there seems to be a lack of assistance, accommodation, or rebooking options offered to assist with the onward journey to London. This recurring issue has happened three times in the past 3 months with my family members, causing significant inconvenience, wasted time, and money due to non-refundable hotel bookings. I am seeking a solution to alleviate the distress and inconvenience experienced during this journey.

1. I would like to inquire if Etihad flights allow the use of CPAP devices and if economy seats are equipped with 110V/220V power outlets. 2. I am interested in the 2-night free hotel stopover in Abu Dhabi. Could you confirm that if I check in at 8 am, the room will be available for 48 hours until 8 am two days later? 3. Regarding the free hotel stopover, am I allowed to utilize it on both legs of my journey? Can I stop over in Abu Dhabi on my way to London and on the return journey as well? 4. Does Etihad offer a bus service to downtown Abu Dhabi? If so, are the Ramada by Wyndam Downtown Hotel or the Holiday Inn Downtown close to any of these bus stops? 5. I noticed there is a City Air Terminal. Can I check in with luggage at that location? 6. How much time should I allocate to reach the airport for a 2 pm flight from downtown Abu Dhabi? This flight experience was incredibly inconvenient. My baggage was lost during a trip from Baharain to Abu Dhabi, handled by Gulf Air and operated by Etihad. It took 4 hours to locate my bag after landing, then an additional 2 days for delivery, causing frustration and forcing me to argue with the call center manager to receive it sooner. Despite multiple calls and promises, the bag did not arrive as scheduled, leading to further distress for my family waiting at home in Dubai. I had explicitly informed Etihad about my residence in Dubai and the necessity of timely updates and delivery, but they continuously misunderstood and provided conflicting information. The lack of responsibility from Etihad at the airport added to my anxiety and feelings of being neglected. This entire ordeal has left me distressed, disappointed, and reluctant to fly with them again. I expect appropriate compensation for such a distressing and poorly managed situation. Regards, A.K.

Hello, I have a booking with Etihad Airways for March 5th under the name MR Mohammed Fasih Ur Rahman with the booking reference: HKZVQA. I recently received an email from Etihad Airways requesting some clarification regarding my payment method. They mentioned that I need to show the credit or debit card used for the transaction during check-in and if the cardholder is not traveling, a clear copy of the card must be provided. Additionally, they asked for a bank statement displaying the ticket purchase details to be emailed to [redacted] at least 48 hours before the flight along with the booking reference number. They mentioned that failure to verify the payment card could result in inability to travel on the ticket and the need to purchase a new ticket. They also mentioned the right to cancel the booking if the payment card is not verified. I'm looking for clarification on the email and any assistance on how to proceed. Thank you.

I have an Etihad booking for March 17, [redacted], to travel to India from the US with my family, including two children, one of whom is an infant. Due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, I need to cancel or modify my non-essential trip. I have attempted to manage or cancel my flight on Etihad.com, but it does not allow changes and instructs me to contact customer care. I have been trying to reach customer service for the past 4-5 days, but the phone lines either keep me on hold for hours or disconnect after 9-10 minutes. I have also reached out via Twitter, Instagram, and submitted feedback on Etihad's website, but have not received a response. I am feeling disappointed and worried about losing the money spent on my tickets.

Hello, I hope you're having a good day. I traveled from Johannesburg to Mumbai on February 28, [redacted]. I checked in my luggage at Johannesburg airport, and before doing so, I had it wrapped in plastic. Upon collecting my luggage at Mumbai airport on February 29, I was dismayed to find that the wrapping on my suitcase had been removed and my bag was damaged. It appears someone had stolen items from my bag. I have attached images of the damaged bag for your reference.
