Hello, my wife and I recently booked return flights to India with Etihad Airlines. Despite usually flying with Singapore Airlines, we were impressed with the service and care provided by Etihad. Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we had to change our return flight from the 20th to the 17th of March on the advice of the Indian government Health Authority. We were surprised to be charged $[redacted] for each ticket to change the date, which we find a bit expensive compared to other airlines offering refunds or vouchers for date changes. We kindly request Etihad consider issuing us a refund or voucher as well. Our flight from Delhi to Sydney was also notably half empty. I am Azita Rezvani, and I had a round-trip flight booked through cheaptickets.de via your airline from Dusseldorf to Kuala Lumpur. My Airline reference is NUSHO5 and Booking number is [redacted]. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, my flight was canceled, and Etihad Airways offered a credit for future bookings. Since I booked through a third party, I contacted cheaptickets.de for assistance. After corresponding with them, they confirmed that I should receive a new voucher code directly from the airline within a year from the original booking date. Etihad did not provide any explanation or offer assistance to help me return home near Brisbane, Australia. Contacting Etihad was impossible due to jammed phone lines and delayed email responses. I found myself stranded at Frankfurt airport on March 25, [redacted], with no help from Etihad to get on alternative flights. Discovering later that repatriation flights were available from Abu Dhabi to Melbourne between April 5, [redacted], and April 21, [redacted], left me feeling abandoned by Etihad. I booked a flight through Expedia from Colombo to Munich with the itinerary number [redacted][redacted]. I booked my ticket with Opodo travel online, but when I arrived at the airport, I had a terrible experience with the Etihad staff. One lady, who seemed to be a supervisor, was rude and unhelpful. She couldn't find my booking in their system and accused me of not being booked, causing me a lot of stress. After contacting Opodo, they confirmed that they had sent the booking to Etihad on time. However, the Etihad staff failed to check their emails promptly. Despite being a loyal customer, I was treated poorly. My COVID-19 certificate expired due to this incident, and now I have to get a new one. I am very disappointed with Etihad's service and considering sharing my experience on social media. I hope Etihad will address this issue and ensure better customer care in the future.

I reserved a round-trip ticket from Sydney to Lebanon returning on December 20th. Unfortunately, the travel agent advised me the return trip on the 20th was canceled, offering an alternative on the 18th. Due to short notice on December 16th, I couldn't make the 18th departure. The agent has rebooked for this month but is asking for an additional $[redacted] AUD, claiming it as a fare difference. Previously, we had secured special seats for our original flight on May 5, [redacted], for which we have already paid. However, these seats do not seem to be showing on your website for our rescheduled flight on May 27, [redacted]. We have received our itinerary with the specific seat numbers assigned. We tried updating the details in the 'Etihad Guest Icon' for a new booking reference to ensure the special seats due to a change in our route, but encountered an error message when our son tried to do this from the USA. In India, I have successfully registered for your Guest Program.
