Recently I have been travelling from Jeddah to Abu Dhabi along with my mother and wife on Etihad Airlines (was returning from umrah). On **th of october while returning back on transit from Abu Dhabi I was detained by police for * whole month and unfortunately all the luggage was under my name so the baggage has to stay at Abu Dhabi for a whole month. *When I have sorted out my matter and when it was time for me to come back I asked Etihad staffs to get my luggage back to me. I couldnt book the direct flight from Abu Dhabi to bangalore as there were seats available on Etihad Airlines so i have to book a transit flight from Abu Dhabi to Colombo on Etihad and from Colombo to Bangalore on Srilankan Airlines. What Etihad staffs said me was that they couldnt release my luggage as it was ** kgs and it wasnt a direct flight srilankan airlines may not allow me to carry more then ** kgs and what they told me was to claim the baggage from home country airport i.e Bangalore airport and they even informed me that they have e-mailed the baggage claim team of bangalore about my luggage and they even replied back as saying i'll be helped at bangalore airport as they know about the matter. But when i reached Bangalore airport the baggage claim team was totally unaware of my baggage. The Abu Dhabi team even lied to me saying that they have got the reply from indian team where as there is no such email received by Indian baggage claim team. *I have attached the baggage tags and the boarding pass along with this mail. I had * baggage plus * Zam Zam water bottle. I dont understand why Abu Dhabi team has to lie about the email which they have not even sent and if even they have sent why would Indian team lie about it. *I need my luggage as soon as possible i request you to kindly look into the matter and reply me as soon as possible.
