My spouse and I are looking to change agents for better service closer to home. The potential new agent mentioned that Erie is not allowing us to switch. I have been a client of the current agency, the one we want to depart from, since before I got married 23 years ago, and we continued with them. However, I had a bad experience with their service after an accident in [redacted]. We attempted to switch back then but encountered the same resistance. My husband's relatives have been with the other agency for many years, and after witnessing their quality service, we are keen on switching. This decision is not based on any solicitation from the new agency. If we cannot resolve this matter, we will be switching from Erie to a different insurance provider.
