If you are already at the airport when your flight is delayed, it's recommended that you go directly to a Delta customer service desk before calling. If a delay is announced before you arrive at the airport, it's a better option to call at that point.

My father in law, Mr Celso PRADO, had his Emirate flight EK*** (DUBAI*S*O PAULO) delayed at DUBAI and due to that he lost his another flight ** With one of Emirates partner, GOL airways. The lost of Gol’s flight, cause me to buy a new ticket from Gol as they said it was a case of show off, leading to spend an unexpected amount of U$ ***,**. So I request a refund against the unexpected amount paid for a new flight ticket due to Emirate’s flight delay.
