I was trying to live comfortably with my partner ... my final bill is ludicrous, there is only two people living here, seventy five and eighty one years old, I am leaving because you kept hiking up the price. we have just had the warmest winter and the hottest summer, so how do you justify the final bill . I have lived here for ** years and have always been in credit this time of year. we don't put TV on till *pm no radio, I wash once a week, I have one fridge one freezer, the hoovering is done only once. The boiler is off from March till November as we have water solar. We have paid standing charges all these years and for what? we don't have a meter reader, the meter has never been checked, it isn't easy to read as you have to lie on the floor to see it. So I am not very happy about the service we have received. I would like my meter to be checked or replaced before I pay the final bill. I wasn't very happy when they hiked the monthly debit in September when they said it was going to go up in January and to jump from £** to £*** a month beggars belief
That older people don't have the same brain cells as the younger generation, it takes longer to understand
Checking or changing the meter
I have always paid direct debit so they haven't had to chase me for payment
I don't know what else to do
