I was trying to get a refund of $**.** and thought I had ended my Duolingo subscription. ... Hi Duolingo! I got an email notification telling my that my payment was unsuccessful on November * of this year. **I went to your site to sign out of Duolingo, as I know I could not comfortably pay that much money. Later on, I received a receipt for my payment of $**.**.**If you check my progress, you will see I have not been there for a number of months (due to personal issues).*I am on Disability and am now looking toward struggling financially because of this mistake.**I am not computer savvy, and the mistake was possibly mine in the attempt to discontinue my Duolingo account.**Could you find it in your hearts to refund that money to me? I will say that, if I was able to continue on at some point, this problem may affect my decision to use your site again. I would heartily like to avoid this.*Thank you for your kind consideration of my concerns.
This is especially frustrating because I have not used the Duolingo site for several months and - (this is the important point) - I am on Disability and have VERY LIMITED funds each month. If I don't receive a refund, I will be limited in the amount of food I can buy this month.
You could make this right by refunding me the $**.**. I haven't been able to use Duolingo for MONTHS.
I had been doing my best to learn Greek and enjoyed the challenge of learning a new language at the age of **.
