If you lost your streak and did not receive a streak freeze, unfortunately, streaks cannot be restored once broken. We recommend taking advantage of streak freezes in the future to protect your streak.

To turn off speaking lessons in Duolingo, go to your app settings. Under "Learning Language," you should see an option for "Speaking Exercises." From there, you can disable the speaking lessons feature. If you're using the website, check your account settings for similar options related to speaking exercises.
