I received a jacket as a birthday present about 10 months ago from my daughter. I loved it, but only wore it a few times due to its lightweight nature resembling a sweatshirt. The red and black plaid jacket with tie closure received numerous compliments. However, I recently noticed pilling all over it, making it look old and worn, leaving me unable to wear it. The jacket, valued at about $50, was purchased at Dress Barn. Despite attempting to return it without a receipt, the store refused. I seek compensation for this issue and any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Joanne D.

During my visit to the Wyomissing location, I encountered disappointing service. Despite carrying a handful of clothing, I was not welcomed and had to request a dressing room. In search of updating my work wardrobe due to the summer weather, I found a few items and left them in the dressing room to continue shopping. After collecting more items and returning to the dressing room, everything I had selected was gone. Even though the staff witnessed me adding more clothes, the previously chosen outfits had vanished. Feeling frustrated, I left the new items on the bench and prepared to depart, expressing my dissatisfaction to the staff. Their response of "how were we to know?" felt dismissive of the poor customer service I experienced. I usually rely on Dressbarn for their service, but this incident left me with no choice but to shop for my new work attire elsewhere.

I would like to return an item, specifically a dress I purchased for a wedding. The dress is unworn and still in its original packaging. I have a Pre-Paid Return label but no inside return label. I am concerned that without proper identification, my return may not be correctly processed. Can I please receive a return form with my name and information on it? I have tried calling customer service twice but have only reached voicemail and no one has returned my calls. I have been a satisfied customer of DB in the past, but if returns become problematic, I may reconsider future purchases. My Order Number is [redacted], and the item in question is the Textures Knit Dress with Embellished Neck in size 16. The purchase total was $39.99 with applicable taxes, totaling $43.28 to be refunded to my credit card.

I placed my order on November 30, [redacted], with Order #[redacted]. However, there has been no progress on the order yet. When I check the tracking, it still shows no sign of being in "processing." This is concerning as these items are meant to be Christmas gifts. I would like to know when the order will start processing and when I can expect to receive it. I appreciate your help during this busy season, but I had hoped the order would have at least started processing by now, considering the delays in deliveries this year. I am attempting to redeem a Dressbarn gift card valued at $50. I have been informed that I will only receive $25 in return for this card. I possess the receipt showing its original purchase value of $50 and I am simply looking to utilize the full amount towards merchandise on the Dressbarn website. Lucas from customer service has advised me that this is the most favorable solution. It appears unfair, considering that the gift card indicates it should not lose its value on the back.

I contacted to cancel my order just 30 minutes after placing it on 3/24/21, requesting a full refund, not a store credit. The representative assured me it was no issue, even though one item had already shipped. I was under the impression the rest of my order was canceled, with instructions to return the shipped item. Promised a follow-up call within 24 hours that never came. After receiving emails that the rest of my order shipped, I called back a day later, being told to expect contact within 24-48 hours, which never happened. After several more calls, I spoke with Paul Pal, who gave me ticket ID #[redacted]0 and stated he would request a full refund due to the timing of my cancellation. Despite assurances of a "very soon" call back, it has been over a week without a response. I plan to contact my credit card company, Discover Card Services, to dispute the $[redacted].63 charge. Your phone representatives are polite, but the customer service overall is lacking. I will advise others to avoid purchasing from DressBarn due to poor service and low-quality clothing.

I made an order at the end of January and received multiple items but still missing a light peach floral top and a pair of black trousers. I contacted customer service several times and was promised emails and a replacement for the trousers, but nothing has been resolved. I received a partial refund for the out-of-stock top but still have not received the missing trousers. This experience has been frustrating, and I want a refund for the trousers. This poor customer service has made me decide never to shop at Dressbarn again.

I placed an order in January [redacted] and initially received 4 tops in one package, with a Happy Kimono following in February. However, I am still missing 2 items from my order. After contacting customer service on 02/23/21 and speaking with Anthony, who promised a confirmation that never arrived, I called again on 03/17/21. Richard was the most helpful representative I spoke with and issued a refund of $38.20 for the out-of-stock light peach floral top but informed me the missing black trousers would be reshipped. Despite this, I am still waiting for the black trousers. Subsequent calls on 04/08/21 with Arman and on 04/14/21 with Saul have not resolved the issue, with promises of emails and tracking numbers unfulfilled. At this point, I am requesting a refund for the missing black trousers as this issue has persisted for months. My order number is #[redacted].

I placed an order for Westport high-waisted boot-cut jeans in a size 10, but received a pair with fancy pockets instead. At 78 years old, I prefer a simpler style without the high waist that the ones I received had, causing a gap in the waist. I had trouble contacting customer service to arrange a return and exchange. After a frustrating experience, I called the customer service line for assistance. I was guided to return the jeans to the nearest Walmart, and DressBarn mentioned having a coupon or refund for my next purchase. I believe instructions on how to redeem it were missing. The jeans I wanted are only available starting from size 16 now, which is disappointing as they were well-loved by me and my friends. It's been difficult to get a clear resolution as I prefer speaking to someone directly. I hope for a refund to be sent to my address provided. I purchased three pairs of Westport blue jeans months ago in a size 10, but they arrived with a sparkly design on the back pockets instead of being plain. I would like to request the cancellation of order #[redacted]. I am canceling because I am unable to afford the bill due to not receiving refunds on returns. I am currently in a difficult financial situation and cannot risk losing more money by keeping the order. I was originally trying to find a dress for my granddaughter's wedding, but now I am struggling with the amount of money tied up in your store. I feel disappointed that I may have to make another purchase just to recoup my funds. It concerns me that there is no option for cash refunds, only store credit, especially with the stores being closed for in-person shopping. I purchased jeans online about a month and a half ago. After receiving them, I noticed they are not the usual signature jeans I own. The tag sewn in the back reads "Westport," unlike my usual jeans with the brand written out. I am disappointed with the quality and feel misled as these jeans are not up to the standard I expected. Despite it being over 30 days, I am considering returning them. I prefer the familiar look and feel of my usual jeans and these do not meet my expectations. I am frustrated with this purchase and would like to seek a resolution.

I recently made a purchase for a Chiffon Duster Cape Surplice Wrap Dress in size 16w, Steel color for $89.95, order# [redacted], charged to my Visa ending in [redacted]. Unfortunately, the wrong dress was sent to me so I returned it two weeks ago. The refund has not been processed, and I was informed by Jack that a store credit was issued instead of a refund to my Visa. I would like the amount credited back to my Visa ending in [redacted] promptly. I have been a loyal customer of your stores but this online ordering experience has been disappointing. Hello, I went shopping yesterday and attempted to use two promotions on your website. Despite having enough time left on the promotions, I encountered an error message after entering the codes (WRHS7 and PR33P8P) and my personal details during checkout. The message stated "Something went wrong. What happened? Too many attempts. Please try again in a few minutes." Even though I only made one attempt, I followed the instructions and tried again after waiting, but the issue persisted. I was in Portugal, it was late, and I couldn't call customer service. I even tried using the website chat without success. I hope to complete my purchase with the discounts that were valid yesterday, as today the total appears to be higher.

I noticed a charge of $9.99 from Dressbarn on my bank statement dated Nov 3, [redacted], despite not making any recent purchases. I currently see a balance of $4,[redacted].12, which I believe does not owe to Dressbarn. It is puzzling as I cannot reach a live representative despite multiple attempts via the customer service number provided. I received my order #[redacted] on October 12, [redacted]. One item, the Ross and Ali popover olive/Gold/rust #6453M724SSLP in size M, is defective with a broken chain and no tags. It looks like it may have been worn by someone before. The other item, Sara Michelle G929766B73 M in red/navy/Peru, is too small compared to my usual medium size. I want to return both items for a refund without paying return shipping. I have tried contacting the company four times but only received auto-generated replies promising a response within 72 hours, which has not happened in the last four weeks. I am frustrated by the lack of communication and desire to speak to a person to resolve this issue. I placed an order for two tops from Dressbarn in December. The order number is #[redacted]. One of the tops I received was two sizes smaller than expected, and I need to return it. The second top never arrived, and I have not received any information about it being shipped. Despite reaching out via email and calling Customer Service multiple times, I have only received generic responses stating they are busy and will reply soon. It has been nearly a month with no resolution and no communication with a live person. I fear I won't be able to return the ill-fitting item within the 30-day window due to their lack of response. Dressbarn's policy does not allow order cancellations, even if the item hasn't been shipped. They only offer store credit, which I find unfair given the circumstances. The lack of customer service and only receiving automated replies are very frustrating. It seems impossible to resolve this issue as I am unable to reach a real person at Dressbarn.

I had an $80 credit on my Dress Barn card and used it to purchase a black faux leather jacket on October 11, [redacted]. As of April [redacted], I have not received the jacket, and all attempts to contact them via phone, email, or chat have been unsuccessful. Despite sending multiple emails and chats, I have not received any responses. I am seeking either the jacket or a refund, not in the form of a gift card. I have exhaustively searched online for a solution without success. If GetHuman can assist me, that would be greatly appreciated. I caution others to steer clear of this company based on my frustrating experience.

In September, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $9.99 on my credit card statement. Despite being a loyal customer of Dress Barn, I did not authorize this charge and do not require this service. Kindly refund the charges from last month and this month and refrain from making any future charges without my explicit permission.
