On ****** I created an order (*******-****) with a seller on discogs using the account name "mahssacre." After paying for the item (The Mandrake Memorial - Puzzle (LP, Album, Ltd, RE, ***) (Wah Wah Records - WDLX***)), an entire month passed with no updates from the merchant, and the order status never changed to "shipped," I tried to contact them via the order page and messaging. After a further two weeks I still received no response. I then decided to report mahssacre for being unresponsive, and this prompted a response from them. They told me that they were "having trouble finding the record in their inventory," and that I would be refunded or have the item shipped to me asap. A further two weeks passes and I decide I'm done waiting, and would rather get my money back. I send a message informing the seller of this, and again receive no response for two weeks, until I issue a report for the second time. I receive a response shortly after saying "sorry for the delay will refund." *After ANOTHER MONTH of no refund appearing in any of my banking or paypal accounts, and further difficulties communicating with mahssacre, I send a message detailing my frustrations at their lack of professionalism and sub-par customer service. Again, no response, hence another report. I receive a message saying "will make sure *the refund* is processed." Here I am now (******), a full month after this message, still with no refund. I'm not sure how much control discogs has over those who use their site, but I have no idea where to go from here to get my refund. While getting my money for the unfulfilled order back is my top priority here, I also feel mahssacre should either have their account suspended or face some other disciplinary action, as I am not the first or only user who has had similar problems with this seller.
