This is Richard J. Pearce. My account number is **-*****. The reservation number *********. The reservation, dated ** December ****, was for a one bedroom economy. She upgraded to a one bedroom standard. When we arrived we were assigned a two bedroom townhouse. My wife is handicapped and requested a walk in shower. The townhouse is sixteen stairs to the upper floor bedroom. I requested to be given a one bedroom instead. The manager on duty said there was nothing he cold do. I again said that my wife cannot climb stairs. I then asked him to ask someone checking in to a one bedroom if they would like a two bedroom townhouse in exchange. He would not consider the request. So I went to the pool area and began to ask the guests if they had a one bedroom who would like a two bedroom. One individual responded. We exchanged units Saturday night, but his stay ends ** February **** and I will have to move back to the two bedroom townhouse. I am upset that I was upgraded to the two bedroom townhouse with a staircase and not given a one bedroom, which I KNEW WOULD BE ON ONE FLOOR. I intend to file a complaint with the Americans with Disability Administration (ADA). Your response is urgent as my wife will have to sleep on the pull out couch downstairs, and with no place to store our clothing. I can be reached at *** *** **** *r *** *** ****. Please help.
