The issue in GetHuman-mickydde's own words
My wife and I had a very uncomfortable flight from MSP to SAT on Feb *th on DL ****. For what ever reason the plane was very hot and smelt like an old locker. We then were told there was no running water on board!! I thought why am I paying to fly when its so uncomfortable!! This was just a start for us and others to experience bad business from Delta. Our flight home was a disaster that not only costed me more money but the loss a full day at home. We boarded flight DL**** at *:** AM Wed Feb **th and sat on the plane until a bit after * until we were told there was a sensor problem and the plane would not fly and we all were to go talk to an associate about what to do. When getting of the plane we were all handed a red card saying need help but nobody really new what to do! We then all stood in line with just one associate to help us all. How frustrating this was and after standing in line for almost an hour the man told us are only options were to wait it out with unknown answers to how long or drive to Austin Texas to maybe catch a evening flight. Is this good business? NO!! We then were offered coffee and donuts and were told lunch would also be offered well lunch came at **:** in a box that nobody wanted again BAD business!! I asked two different associates to please just be honest with me and I could change plans but nobody really knew what to say and I kept getting text saying we could board in ** min then it would say ** min and so on the texts were just lies!! Well my wife and I lost a entire day of our lives sitting around an airport we paid for an extra day of parking and a dog kennel and then had to drive home in rush hour and had to buy two more meals because of very bad business from Delta!! If something like this was due to the weather I could understand but this was a mechanical breakdown on your aircraft that costed us time and money!! I would like to see Delta refund the cost of both flights for my wife and I and pay the kennel of $**. another day of parking about $**. and $** for at least one of our meals. We have always gone through Delta but this was just not an experience I would want to encounter again with either flight!! Please read this through and understand not only us but all the passengers of these flights were so disappointed with Delta! Brooke and Michael Delano.
