We recently bought a TV from Curry's and signed up for a Virgin package with a cashback deal. However, we encountered a series of issues with the TV delivery, installation, and claiming the cashback. The TV was damaged before delivery, causing delays. Despite assurances that the installation would be completed by the same team, they were unable to do a wall installation initially and had to return multiple times, causing damage to our TV stand in the process. Regarding the cashback, we faced difficulties submitting the online form due to the website not accepting our package order number correctly. Despite having the full house deal, we were told we only qualified for £[redacted] cashback instead of the £[redacted] promised. Dealing with these problems has been time-consuming and frustrating, resulting in incorrect installation, property damage, and a cashback discrepancy. We have reached out to Curry's via phone and email without satisfactory resolution.

Hello, I had two KNOWHOW engineers visit my property in August [redacted] on separate days to repair my washing machine. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with a report detailing the repairs they conducted and the dates of their visits. This information is necessary as a hotpoint engineer caused water damage to my property, resulting in harm to my washing machine. The insurance loss adjuster from hotpoint alleges that the damage is unrelated to their engineer and is instead blaming the KNOWHOW technicians. However, I am certain that the water damage was caused by hotpoint. I specifically recall Stuart H. from KNOWHOW attending to repair the machine. I returned a faulty Samsung Galaxy J5 to Currys at the beginning of June [redacted]. Despite being within the 28-day warranty, I encountered numerous issues with the replacement process. The store staff assured me a new phone would be delivered by DPD the next day. To my dismay, the phone did not arrive. Subsequent calls to Currys, Carphone Warehouse, and Knowhow provided no clarity on the situation. It was revealed that the phone was mistakenly sent to a different address and subsequently returned to the sender. Despite visiting the store and speaking to the customer service manager, the resolution was further delayed. The manager suggested a refund and a new purchase, but due to the urgency of my situation and the promised next-day delivery, I declined. The lack of documentation and receipt added to the frustration. The continuous back and forth has left me feeling extremely dissatisfied and inconvenienced, especially during a time when I needed the phone for personal and business use. I request compensation due to the stress and inconvenience caused, particularly when preparing for my father's funeral.

I would like to inquire about the process of exchanging a damaged cooker I bought online. Today, upon delivery, I contacted customer service who directed me to Beko, the brand of the cooker. They provided me with a reference number and instructed me to go to my local store for the exchange. I clarified that I would need to take all details including the reference number to the store for the exchange process. However, I was informed that I would have to bring the damaged item with me as well. This confused me as it is a cooker that I bought online without causing any damage. Since it was late in the evening, I plan to contact Currys tomorrow to seek further clarification on this process. After receiving the email confirmation, I noticed a mix-up where the standalone freezer I ordered was listed as an integrated freezer. Despite informing them, the incorrect freezer was delivered on July 21, with the correct one taken back. The delivered fridge was left as no one was available to fit it. An email from Currys stated an exchange for the freezer was not possible without explanation. I canceled the freezer order but am awaiting the installation of the fridge, paid for in advance. I seek clarification on the refund process and installation schedule.

Reference [redacted] Formal Complaint I am writing this email on behalf of my mother, Mrs. L.P., residing at 17 Ringslade Road, Wood Green N22 7TE. My mother bought a fridge freezer from the Tottenham Hale branch, delivered to the mentioned address on Sunday, August 19, [redacted]. The delivery company in question is Team Knowhow. As per the contract between Currys and my mother, the agreement was for them to take away the old appliance upon delivery of the new fridge freezer. Although the delivery company did take the old appliance, it has been brought to our attention that they left it at the bottom of Cumberland Road, causing distress with our neighbors. Despite reporting this to Currys via multiple telephone calls and receiving assurances of collection, the old appliance remains uncollected. We stand firm that we are not liable for this oversight. Should the council require evidence, we are prepared to provide it. Currys holds the responsibility for their third-party actions, and this negligence poses an environmental health hazard which could result in fines for the company. I am experiencing difficulty with the website when trying to buy items on credit. I consistently encounter errors on the site and have had to shop elsewhere due to unresolved issues. Despite informing an advisor previously, the site remains unusable after several attempts. I am now trying to purchase an Xbox on the Curry's site, but for three days, I face the same error. If the issue persists for another day or two, I will have to look for alternative options. The ongoing inconvenience is frustrating, and it is surprising that the problem has not been resolved after several months.

Hello, I recently purchased a new cooker from you and also paid for installation services. Unfortunately, the individual who delivered the cooker yesterday was unable to complete the installation as they were not qualified. I contacted your customer service this morning to reschedule the installation. However, I was disappointed that Curry's did not inform me about the failed installation from yesterday. I was able to rebook the installation for 09-sep. I expressed my concerns about the delay and inconvenience of not having a working oven for another week, as well as the need for someone to be present on another date. The customer service representative mentioned a potential refund of £10 for the inconvenience, which I found unsatisfactory. My grandparents purchased a new cooker at the end of July. Shortly after, there was an issue, and I contacted customer service. It took a while for them to come and assess the problem. After identifying the issue, they ordered a new knob, but it turned out to be the wrong one when they came to install it. Now we have to wait for the correct one to arrive, which means another week of waiting. This has been very frustrating for my grandparents, who are in their 80s and have had to rely on microwave meals due to the faulty grill. We feel the customer service has been very poor and are hoping for a resolution soon. The cooker was purchased from the Rhyl store by Mr. Jones.

On September 8th, I purchased 24/7 help for £70 from your company since my previous service had expired. Due to my old computer, this deal was necessary. Then, on September 12th, I bought a new computer and also acquired a repair and support plan. An assistant manager assured me we could receive a refund for the 24/7 service bought earlier. However, getting this refund has been challenging. Despite contacting multiple individuals, no one has been able to assist. Some promised to email me but failed to follow through. I have evidence of the purchase on September 8th with the payment made on the 11th. I hope someone can resolve this as it left me upset after my last conversation. Looking forward to your response. I recently contacted customer services about a letter stating a payment issue of £3.99 being declined by my card issuer. I was informed this charge was for a Samsung tablet, separate from the £4.50 monthly payment for my Lenovo computer. However, after reviewing both my bank and building society statements, there is no record of a £3.99 payment. Instead, I noticed the regular £4.50 transaction on my card statement. I have ample funds in both accounts, so I am perplexed by this discrepancy. Can you please clarify which card the £3.99 charge should be connected to? Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I am a loyal customer at your store located in Albion Retail Park in Warrington. Over the past 2 years, I have spent approximately £[redacted] on your products without any issues. However, last month, I encountered a problem. I approached a member of your team to inquire about purchasing an Apple iMac Air for my daughter, which retails around £[redacted]. During the discussion, he mentioned a data package including 1TB cloud storage that he offered to give me for free. When I returned the next week to purchase the iMac, the same staff member denied ever mentioning the free data package, causing an embarrassing situation in front of other customers and my family. The manager eventually resolved the issue and honored the initial offer. Despite this, the incident has made me hesitant about returning to your store for my upcoming TV purchase for Christmas. I purchased a laptop at the Lincoln store back in April [redacted] and just realized I've been charged £7.99 monthly for a repair and support plan I never agreed to. After searching for 'product support ag,' I discovered many others with similar experiences. When I declined the support plan at the store, I was assured it would be canceled after 30 days. I even have it noted on my receipt. I request a refund of £47.94 (6 x £7.99) and assurance that no more payments will be deducted. Please reach out to me for my bank details.

I purchased an HP OfficeJet Pro [redacted] from Curry’s Forestside Store in Belfast on September 10, [redacted], after ordering it online. The product was supposed to come with a 3-year guarantee, as advertised. However, upon unpacking, I found no information on how to register for the guarantee provided by HP. I tried to clarify this by contacting Curry’s help desk and spoke with Mohammed, who directed me to Tina to assist with the registration. Tina, however, informed me that they could only register warranties purchased from Curry’s and advised me to contact HP directly. Unfortunately, the phone number provided by Tina for HP was incorrect, leading to further frustration. I am seeking clarification on whether my receipt serves as proof of the 3-year guarantee or guidance from Curry’s on how to register properly. This experience, combined with a previous issue with a Bosch Fridge order, has left me significantly disappointed with Curry’s service.

We received our fridge freezer on Sunday. The delivery team left it in our kitchen and departed, contrary to the website information stating they would unbox it, ensure its condition, and remove the packaging. Upon inspection, we found significant damage to the bottom and the legs were broken. There were additional dents and paint peeling off. We went to the local Curry’s store for an exchange, which was completed but with an unexpected £30 charge due to a different color. The replacement fridge showed up damaged as well, with paint issues and dents. We paid £[redacted] for a new fridge freezer only to receive damaged goods even after the exchange. Disappointing service experience overall.

On January 29, [redacted], I visited the Currys Harlow store and bought the Samsung 65HU8500 UHD TV based on a staff member's recommendation. The member was Jonathon, and the receipt number is [redacted]. At the time, the TV was considered top-of-the-line and "Future Proof" because it had an evolution kit for future upgrades. However, since then, Samsung has not released any evolution kit upgrades for this TV, rendering it outdated. Samsung indicated that Currys is responsible for the recommendation. I believe I was misled about the TV's future benefits, given its current obsolete state without upgrade options. Other owners of similar TVs have received refunds due to this issue. My main concern is the misrepresentation during the sale, as the TV cost £[redacted], a significant amount for me. I am hoping for a refund or exchange of equal value due to this mis selling. While my purchase was through Currys, not Samsung, I expect fair resolution given the circumstances. I value Currys' customer service and hope for a satisfactory resolution, as legal action may be considered if a mutual agreement is not reached.

I received the oven delivery this morning for Tayah's Cafe at 46 Berry Lane, Longridge. When discussing the purchase of the oven and the LPG converter kit, I emphasized that I needed the gas man to connect it as LPG suitable. I was assured there would be two people to deliver, and the gas man would handle the conversion to LPG. Unfortunately, upon delivery, the gas man was unaware of this requirement and refused to install it, citing that cafes are not covered by the installation policy. This is confusing to me as the oven is still for a domestic setting, and I have insurance coverage. I have paid extra for these services, yet I am left with my old oven taking up space. It was a time-consuming process to get the correct oven, and I would appreciate guidance on how to proceed.

I recently purchased a Kenwood fridge freezer and scheduled its delivery for today. Unfortunately, the delivery arrived earlier than expected, and the drivers left the appliance outside without any packaging. Upon inspection, I noticed damage to the bottom corner and some dents on the facing corner that are visible in my kitchen. I placed an order for a cooker last night. I requested delivery, installation, and next-day service. During checkout, everything looked fine. However, after paying by card, I received a text saying the delivery would occur within 21 days, not the next day as I paid for. Upon checking my order, I saw it was for a different product that was out of stock. I had to bring my disabled daughter to the store in Bangor, Gwynedd, to explain the situation and ask for a cancellation. This error was made by Curry's online, not me. I am very unhappy with this experience. Please have the manager contact me at [redacted]7 to resolve the issue promptly.
