I had purchased a 6-month personal training package with Trainer Adrian Martinez at Crunch Fitness in Rancho Cucamonga. However, Adrian left unexpectedly, leaving me without sessions. Despite requesting to cancel future sessions due to not wanting to work with another trainer, I was still charged for June and July sessions totaling $[redacted]. I have not received any communication from the staff or management regarding a refund or replacement trainer. When I contacted the manager, Danny, on July 21st, he mentioned he was busy and asked me to call back in 2 weeks. I am seeking a refund for the unused sessions as I have not received the services I paid for.

I signed up for Crunch Fitness in April [redacted] and only went to the gym once before returning to full-time office work due to a long commute. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was misinformed by staff twice about the cancellation process. Despite thinking my membership was canceled, I was still charged. I had to involve my bank to stop the payments. After being contacted by Crunch Fitness again in January [redacted], I discovered I was still being charged. Even after speaking to a lady from their billing department who assured me everything would be taken care of, Crunch Fitness has now reported a debt of $[redacted] against me, affecting my credit score. I am frustrated with their lack of follow-through and refuse to pay for a membership I tried to cancel after just one visit.

I recently worked as a janitor at the Jamacha Crunch gym for a few months. Lately, I have been subjected to disrespectful behavior from the front desk staff, including inappropriate comments about my gender. These remarks have created a hostile and discriminatory atmosphere. During my last shift, I overheard derogatory language directed at customers, including offensive terms like "faggot" and inappropriate jokes about someone's sexual orientation. The individuals involved in these incidents are Bryce Gates, Jake Kinkaid, and Bean. I found this work environment so toxic that I decided to resign. I have already informed the gym manager about this matter, but I believe urgent action is necessary to address this situation.

I am a fan of my Crunch Fitness in Southgate, MI. The staff and instructors, particularly Kathy A, are fantastic. However, there are a couple of concerns I would like to address. Many of the stationary bikes, despite being new, are not functional due to battery issues. It seems they are still under warranty and require the Schwinn technicians to repair them. This becomes problematic, especially when all bikes are in use during the colder weather, as the screens are necessary for monitoring progress. Additionally, there was a cleanliness issue with blood in the tanning rooms that I brought to the staff's attention, but it was not rectified promptly. Despite these issues, I have had great experiences at the gym and hope these matters can be resolved efficiently.

I have been receiving repeated calls from unidentified numbers regarding a missed payment issue without any voicemails. Despite being informed about this matter, these daily calls to my personal cellphone have become excessive. If the caller is trying to collect a debt, they must acknowledge that their current approach violates federal laws, and they must respect my request for no further contact. The problem is twofold. Firstly, I am bombarded with multiple calls per day from various numbers. I contacted a receptionist at the Colonial branch of a gym in Florida, with whom I have a contract. Unfortunately, they were unable to assist with the calls nor did they acknowledge the impracticality of constantly contacting my personal phone while I am at work, especially given that I am fully aware of my account's status. I was informed, "That’s a corporate matter; we cannot intervene." Upon requesting to speak with a manager to terminate my membership, I was instructed to visit in person or send a letter to a P.O. Box, without inquiring about the reason for my cancellation. It appears that there is no feasible way to uphold the contract if the stance is that I hold no value as a member. A reciprocal exchange of value is necessary for a contractual service. Furthermore, considering my prolonged non-use of their services, no services have been provided. While I acknowledge my contractual obligations and potential fees, I believe Crunch Fitness East Colonial has violated our contract by failing to offer a reasonable and good-faith solution and failing to provide 24-hour gym access as specified.

Hello, my name is Simone Robertson. I am a member of Granite Bay gym in California. I placed my membership on hold on 8-1-22, however, it was not frozen and I was charged on my credit account. Despite notifying the previous manager, my account was not credited. The new manager, JC, mentioned he would address this issue but the credit did not happen promptly, resulting in a late fee of $25.99 escalating to $78.69. When discussing this with JC, he was unhelpful. I seek reimbursement to cover the amount incorrectly charged to my credit card. I can provide a statement as proof if needed. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

In April, my wife and daughter tried to apply for a membership for my daughter, Krista, at Crunch Fitness. We were later informed that Krista was too young at 13 years old. Surprisingly, on September 15th, we received a call from Crunch Fitness claiming Krista had an overdue balance for the past five months. After speaking with a manager named Sue Smith, who promised to investigate, we never heard back. The following day, I contacted an employee named Steven at the Lauzon location in Windsor, Ontario, questioning how my underage daughter could have an account. I expressed concerns about her credit rating due to the missed payments and requested a letter from Crunch Fitness to rectify the error with Equifax. Although I provided my email to Steven for the letter, I have yet to receive it. I am disappointed by the lack of communication and apology from Crunch Fitness employees, including Sue Smith and Steven. Despite reaching out to Operations Manager Sharon Johnny via email, I have not received a response. I am seeking resolution via email communication.

When I joined Crunch, I specifically requested that my payment be deducted on the 2nd or 3rd of each month because all my bills are set up for auto-pay. However, the charge went through on the 11th, which caused me to incur a $5 or $10 fee. I need to change my billing date to the first, second, or third of the month to avoid these extra charges. I'm on a tight budget as I receive disability income, and these additional fees are a burden. I don't want to make any changes to my membership, I simply need to adjust the payment date to prevent further charges. I believe I may have been double charged this month, and I am unsure of the total amount. I appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Thank you.

I lost my driver's license at the Crunch Fitness location on East Colonial in Orlando, FL on October 6, [redacted]. During my first visit as a guest, I handed my ID to an employee named Caleb at the front desk. He was the only staff member working the overnight shift and now can't remember what happened to my ID. Instead of assisting, he blamed me, questioned if an ID was necessary, and limited his search to just two places. Caleb's lazy attitude and lack of help were frustrating. I am requesting a reimbursement for my lost ID or a resolution to this matter.

I am a member of Crunch Fitness and had a trainer named Felix. He informed me he was fired a year ago, and the gym did not contact me afterwards. I stopped using the email account attached to the gym and was unaware they continued charging me $27 monthly. I asked Crunch to close my account and deduct the owed amount from my unused training sessions. The gym insisted I resolve this in person. At the gym, the managers were unhelpful and charged me for additional months. I felt disrespected and frustrated. I want my account closed, stop being charged, and resolve the owed money. This situation has caused me distress. Please assist. Contact me at [redacted] or email me.

I am a former member of Crunch Fitness Countryside and I had informed them that I wanted to end my contract. My personal trainer assured me that he would handle it. However, when the time came to cancel, I was informed that I had missed the deadline and would need to pay again. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, he agreed to take care of it. After exchanging texts with him, I reached out to the gym via email. The trainer replied, requesting me to come in personally. I declined due to feeling unwelcome and asked him to handle it, to which he agreed. A week later, I was charged again. When I visited the gym to cancel, I was informed he was just a trainer, not a manager. They eventually canceled my membership but stated only corporate could issue a refund. I was charged for an extra month. The lack of response from the club and corporate is disappointing. I seek a refund as I feel mistreated and misled, despite providing supporting text messages. Local management blames me. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.

Crunch Fitness representatives have been incredibly frustrating lately. As an exclusive member who visits various locations in Southern California, I have encountered numerous issues. The problems range from poor customer service to staff members who seem stubborn and ignorant. For example, at the Riverside County location, I asked Alex to change the channel on one of the TVs to a game, but he insisted they had lost the signal except for the soccer match he was watching behind the counter. Additionally, there is a group of attendees loitering in the sink area and blocking the lockers, making it difficult to move around. Some even follow you around, and others hog equipment to use their phones or stare in the mirrors for long periods. It feels like the staff are sharing private information and the personal trainers might have hidden agendas. Unfortunately, these issues never seem to get resolved properly, whether it's with the staff, attendants, or corporate. The atmosphere can be unwelcoming at times, with people not minding their own business and instances of racism and segregation occurring.

I recently had a troubling experience with a staff member at the childcare center. When I arrived to pick up my children, they informed me that the staff member had called them names and physically grabbed them. Following a confrontation, the staff member admitted to his behavior. Despite this, he denied touching my children when asked directly. The manager's response was disappointing; after receiving an apology email from the employee, the manager seemed more preoccupied with upcoming promotions than addressing the situation. It's concerning that the manager did not prioritize dealing with this serious issue promptly. Proper protocols should be in place for hiring childcare staff at the facility, and this incident highlights the need for improvements in staff training and management.

I am concerned about the behavior of one of your childcare staff members today. While picking up my children, they informed me that the staff member had called them derogatory names and physically grabbed them. When I confronted the staff member, he admitted to the name-calling but denied touching the children. This is unacceptable, and I believe the hiring protocol for childcare staff needs to be revised to ensure the safety and respect of the children under your care.

I have been trying to cancel my business membership at Crunch since September. I have visited the location over four times and called customer service twice, but I am still encountering issues. Despite communicating with their management representative for the past month, I am getting the runaround regarding the cancellation process. They are insisting on payment for two months that are past due before canceling, which I find unfair. I have been attempting to cancel since September, so I should not be held responsible for those fees. I am eager to speak with the manager to resolve this situation promptly. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

I canceled my personal training after three months at $[redacted] per month. I submitted the cancellation notice as instructed by the manager, who confirmed that everything was in order, showing me the refund details on the computer. I was told to expect the refund in 5-7 days. However, a month has passed, and my refund hasn't been processed. Looking at the computer screen again, I saw that my refund was skipped while others were processed. This situation is frustrating, as I followed the correct procedure for cancellation and was assured of a refund. I feel misled and mistreated by the company and am adamant about receiving the refund that I was promised.

I wanted to share my recent experiences at the Crunch in Meadowood Mall in Reno, NV. 1. I had a concerning incident with a person at the gym who seemed to have special treatment from the workers. This individual moved my items from my locker to someone else's, took over my locker, and locked it. When I reported it to the manager, I was disappointed by the response I received. It seemed like there was no effort made to address the situation. I believe the gym should have a better protocol for dealing with such matters to avoid conflicts in the future. 2. Some of the management and staff members like Chealse, Ralf, and others have been displaying rude and egoistic behavior. It feels as if they believe they are superior due to their positions. This attitude has created a negative environment for members. The management should address this issue and emphasize the importance of friendliness and good customer service. 3. The condition of the gym equipment has been deteriorating with broken machines and worn-out attachments. Despite signs indicating repair, nothing seems to be getting fixed. This neglect of the equipment reflects poorly on the gym. It is essential for the management to prioritize maintenance and upkeep of the gym. I have been a loyal member of Crunch but these recent experiences have left me disappointed. I hope these concerns can be addressed promptly to improve the overall gym experience for everyone.

I recently signed up for a year membership, expecting today to be the last day of my membership. However, I was surprised to see that I had been automatically enrolled in month-to-month payments without being informed beforehand. I did not agree to this arrangement and did not wish to continue the membership under these terms. Despite having already paid an annual fee earlier this year, I was charged again, along with an additional month. Upon speaking with a manager, I was only offered a membership cancellation instead of a refund. I believe this process is incorrect as I was never given prior notice of the automatic renewal. It is unfair to charge an account without proper explanation and consent.

Hello, I've noticed that out of the 3 Stairmasters at the Crunch gym on Chestnut, the middle one has been faulty for over a year. I have personally informed the gym's front desk about this issue 10 times in the past year. Several other individuals have also reported the problem, but unfortunately, it has not been addressed. With the recent increase in gym traffic, there is a long wait every evening to use the Stairmaster. The faulty machine often fails to start or the belt tightens and slows down during use. Additionally, the belt occasionally slips, creating a dangerous situation where someone could fall. The handle used to check pulse rates is also loose, posing a risk for hand injuries. It is crucial to resolve this issue promptly before someone gets hurt. I am committed to raising this concern with Crunch's management until it is rectified.

On January 26, [redacted], around 2:00 pm, I was working out at Crunch gym on [redacted] N Andrews Ave, Oakland Park, FL, [redacted]. While using the incline bench, a fellow gym-goer removed a weight plate from the rack I was using without asking, even though there were other unused racks with the weight he wanted. I politely pointed out his actions were rude, but he dismissed me. In response, I took the plate back from the barbell he was using. Shortly after, a staff member approached me, questioning the situation. Despite explaining, the staff member accused me of being disruptive and asked me to leave. When I mentioned completing my exercises first, he threatened to involve the police. Feeling upset and perplexed, I left on my own after a few more sets. As I exited, a Crunch representative loudly informed me that I was banned from the gym, and even called the police. This extreme reaction over a minor incident left me shocked. As a longtime member, I have always respected gym etiquette. I request a review of the staff's actions, as it seemed biased. Thanks. -SZ Tamarac, FL [redacted]
