If you're looking to return your CT license plates, you can do so through the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. You can bring the plates to a DMV Full Service Office or Limited Service Office. You also have the option to mail them to the DMV. If mailing them, you should send them to: Department of Motor Vehicles, 60 State Street, Wethersfield, CT 06161-5057. For both methods, be sure to include a postage-paid, pre-addressed envelope large enough to accommodate your request. If you sold your vehicle and will not be replacing it, you may be eligible for a tax credit and should notify your town vehicle taxing agency.
