Hello:*My name is Tamara Belcher. My husband's name is Daniel Belcher.*Through the years, we have bought lots of things from you. Appliances, dish washer, refrigerator, stove, dinnete sets, night stands, lamps, etc.**Last year, my husband and I were seperated. We own a home in Hartsville, TN. I moved to Vicksburg MS for a short time. I didnt own in Vicksburg, I rented a place.**While I was there? I went to Conns in Jackson. I bought * chest of drawers, love seat and video game, nintindo *ds. Not thinking, I told them I didnt have property insurance.* We, my husband and I got back together in June and I moved back home, to our home in TN.**The thing is? We never divorced. We were still married. I contacted Conn's & explained this situation. I wanted Conn's to take the $***.** off since I still was married & covered on our home owners.* *To my dissappointment? I got a letter back. Saying only a small percentage of the money would be taken off, because I was not living at my TN address.*To me? This is wrong, low down and a under handed way of getting out of being fair & doing the right thing.*Say for example? Just a hypothetical example? Say my husband was in the military? He comes in your store? Buys a portable video game? He goes out on a boat for * months & takes his game with him. Then the boat sinks. He gets off but his game dont. Are you going to tell him? Because he was not at his house, he cant get the property insurance to pay that he had origionally? Not any I took out. But since he wasnt physally at home with his item? * I tell you something. If you check your records? Everything we ever bought from you, was in my Husbands name, except for what I bought at the Jackson MS store. Just like the boat, deal. I was still married, still on all our business & still on the home owner policy, my husband had before we seperated, so it shouldn't matter where i was.* The thing is? You ever heard the expression? Happy wife. Happy Life? For all the thousands my husband has spent in your store? He didn't buy one thing there, because he wanted to? He bought it all there? Because I liked Conn's and I wanted to.* I like Conn's,because you have high quality stuff? But mainly? Because your usually more fair to customers, than anybody else I know! This rule should be changed. As long as two people remain married. The origional home owners should stand, no matter what to married people do, or where they live, as long as they are still married and have not changed any of their business papers, as was our case.* Right now? I am not happy. I want the whole amount, I paid in Jackson, for the property insurance taken off my bill. I will say, when one is going through a separation, you sometimes don't think about your business and I forgot about the home owners.* This is the thing for Conn's. We have spent thousands in your store. I don't need anything now. But? You never know? When a new video console might come out? Or I might want a new computer, or might decide I need something else.* I want the whole amount deducted from the bill and a letter sent to my TN address* to show me it has been done.**Tamara Belcher**** Rankin Road**If this matter isn't resolved to my satisfaction. Then my Husband will be making his wife happy at another company, when I decide I need or want something else, because I just don't understand?**How a company would be willing to loose a customer who has spent thousands with them? Over $***.** being deducted off the account for unnecessary property insurance. I have already sent you via email the Farm Bureau Home Owners Proof, so you should have it on record.* Know this. If this matter is not resolved to my satisfaction, I will never shop in your store again!**Hartsville TN *****
