On October **,**** my daughter and i were taking a day trip. At approximately **:**, lunch time we weren't sure where to go for lunch.When we're traveling we often stop at a restaurant that we are familiar with so I chose Chipotle in Hershey Pennsylvania. The location was:***** W Chocolate Ave*Hershey , PA ******(***) ***-****, which is right at Hershey Park . * Now we live outside of Reading, PA and we are very glad there is a great one in our suburbs. I know the zip code for Reading Chipotle ls ***** in Wyomissing, PA. I have loved Chipolle for at least ** years and have gotten gift cards from Chipotle from friends and coworkers. So we thought Chipotle would be a quick and delicious lunch. Let's just say I couldn't have been so very wrong in our decision. After noticing a few things as we walked in the door we still continued to proceed to the placing an order area. Two things I thought were strange just walking in the door. There was no line. There were two people ahead of us and it was a Thursday at lunch time. There were no lines of people waiting to order lunch like there always is at our local Chipotle. We both ordered bowls. I had pork and my daughter chose steak. We proceeded through the line, they had put out an ample amount of ingredients. I paid for our lunch and proceeded to find a table. Now there were only * other families seated at tables, yet every other table or stool had uncleaned,greasy , and streaky areas to sit down and eat. We had to leave our lunches on a counter nearby until we went and grabbed a few handfuls of napkins. I realized they could have just worked thru a large rush of people and didnt have a chance to clean them up yet. However there was no line of people waiting to order food. Not one of them even pretended to act apologetic or bring a bottle of sanitizer to spray down the dirty eating areas. * Then we sat down to eat lunch and it just got worse. The blackbeans were way too crunchy. The white rice was clumpy and rather dry. We continued eating. Just the combinations of ingredients did not compliment each other at all. They definitely seemed as though they were at least a day old. One of the nicest things we have at our Wyomissing Chipotle is the flavor of the food when starting to eat. The first * or so bites is it's always how savory and flavorful the combination and texture of all the ingredients just melting in your mouth. I actually trying to eat the leftover right now and it's horrible. The rest is now going to be thrown away. * Im not normally one of those old people that regularly call and complain, however this visit I just couldn't stand how bad the service was and that the food portion was terrible. I hope nobody ever goes to thar Chipotle for the first time trying your food. It definitely was a waste of time and $** as well. I do think you need to look into or send "secret shoppers" to this location and find out where all of this negative service is coming from. It really was a shame. It really was a shame.
