There is a high number of patients (than expected) who are being admitted at St Mary's & St Elizabeth Hospital - AMITA Health, Chicago, diagnosed with Candida Auris. Most of the patients seem to be coming from one or two nursing home facilities. What is the source for such a rare but serious infection is unknown. Can this matter be investigated further by the CDC considering the seriousness of this disease?
