Hello I bought a car at a dealer and when we purchased the car they gave us a carefax and in that carfax it was accident free so we signed this was a year ago.and last week we wanted to trade our car and they pulled up a car fax for our car and said they would give us less for the car since the car has damage reported and damaged to the rear I was in shock because I haven’t been in an any accident. So I have both carfax and in the new carfax it say that it was reported ******* and we bought the car ****** and the accident was in **** a year before we bought the car. We went to the dealer and they said it was a mistake on carfax side so I would like to know what is going on because I would have never bought a car with an accident already if you can please get back to me thank you and have a good evening
