I have been dealing with several challenges and haven't been able to respond promptly. I am currently in the process of applying for disability benefits, with a hearing scheduled for February [redacted]. Due to my financial circumstances, I am unable to make any payments at this time and will not have the means to do so until about 5 months after my disability is approved. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I acknowledge that there is an outstanding balance with Capital One, but ask for your understanding in waiting until my disability benefits are approved before making any payments. I recently froze my account and misplaced the code needed to reopen it. After submitting my driver's license photos for identity verification, I was informed that the original jpg files were insufficient. Consequently, I sent higher resolution images but have not received any updates since. I froze my account as a Walmart customer, and my current credit score is approximately [redacted], an improvement from when I first opened the account. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a phone to facilitate opening an online account. I recently used my credit card to buy some items. However, when I tried to purchase gift cards, the transaction was declined. After contacting customer service, Tina was unable to provide a reason for the issue. This experience left me feeling embarrassed and I had to resort to using another credit card for the purchase. It's disappointing after being a loyal customer for over 20 years to face such treatment. If I cannot rely on my card when I need it, then it loses its purpose. I am considering taking my business elsewhere to a company that values its customers.

1) I need to request a replacement for my debit card that was captured by the ATM. I would appreciate it if they could mail me a new one. 2) At the Kentlands branch in Gaithersburg, MD, I spoke with Evelyn, who is not a native English speaker, and had difficulty understanding my issue. I would like a fluent English speaker to contact me within 30 minutes to discuss how they will address this language barrier at the branch. It is important to me that there are representatives available who can effectively communicate with me in English and address my concerns promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

My account, number 5[redacted] 6[redacted], was restricted while I was overseas despite informing Capital One before my trip. Upon returning and settling my account with a $[redacted].00 payment, my account remains frozen. The unfreezing process requires me to take a picture of my driver's license and send it to Capital One, which I have attempted for two days unsuccessfully. I am frustrated with the lack of communication with Capital One's head office and find this level of service unacceptable.

I had a business card with Capital One, and the last charge was on October 22. I was expecting to see the bill for October settled in November, but it was not charged until December 16. Surprisingly, the bill was charged to my former business account, which has been closed. To make matters worse, there are several unfair fees added to this bill. I am a loyal Capital One customer with both business and personal cards, and I trust that this issue will be resolved promptly.

I am currently in Panama for 4 months. I have called 5 times at my expense to access my account. You require a code to verify me, but my USA number is not functional as I am abroad. I have provided my international number [redacted]-[redacted]. If this issue is not resolved, I will cancel my account. Please consider my transaction history and enable me to log in without sending the code to my USA phone. Please utilize my email or call me at the international number provided. I plan to use your card for the next 4 months in Panama, but this issue needs to be addressed promptly.

I recently received a text message from Capital One, but I have not provided them with my phone number and do not have any dealings with Capital One. I am concerned this could be a scam or phishing attempt. I am hesitant to respond as I don't want to confirm my number's validity. Original Message: Received this text message, but did NOT give Capital One my number, and have no business with Capital One. Scam? Phishing? Worried if I respond in any way I’ll just confirm this is a valid number. “ Thanks for giving Capital One your mobile number. At times, you may get texts with important information about your account. Sign in to your account to manage which messages you get by text. Reply HELP for more information and contact info. Reply STOP if you don't want to receive any text messages from Capital One. Standard msg/data rates apply.”

I encountered a problem with the individual known as Devin FID676 regarding cancelling a pending payment or card cancellation. I believe that I should have been able to cancel the pending transaction as my payments were current, allowing the funds to be available in cash from the bank. However, Devin FID676 refused to cancel the pending transaction, causing a significant inconvenience. I am questioning why Devin FID676 has the authority to retain my funds in this manner.

I experienced a frustrating situation when booking a flight and hotel for a business trip from PR to Dallas TX with my Capital One Mastercard. While nine other managers had no issues using their cards, mine was declined due to a suspicious transaction alert. Despite calling customer service and having the hotel representative on the line to confirm the legitimate nature of the transaction, my card remained blocked. The $[redacted] charge was well within my $4,[redacted] credit limit. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, including speaking with a supervisor who offered an apology, no satisfactory solution was provided. As a result, I had to find alternative accommodations and flights, adding unnecessary stress to my travel arrangements. I was disappointed by the lack of prompt and effective assistance during this ordeal.

I applied for a credit card online in early December [redacted] and was approved with a $5,[redacted] credit line. The card was sent to me with the agreement. When I tried to activate it online, I encountered an issue and was instructed to call 1-[redacted]. They requested several clear photos of my Florida driver's license, which I sent multiple times without success. They then asked for additional documents like my social security card and a utility bill. I provided this information twice on 12/27/[redacted] but have not received a response, and my account remains restricted with the card inactive. I am concerned about the handling of my personal information and urge the activation of my card promptly. If not resolved, I will escalate the matter further. Please communicate via email regarding the activation status.

I am currently in Israel and urgently need access to my debit card. Capital One has informed me that they do not accept international phone numbers for verification. The only option provided to unblock my card is through SMS, but the bank does not accept international numbers, making it impossible for me to verify my identity. This illogical and bureaucratic policy is blocking me from accessing my account. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will consider moving my account to a more customer-friendly bank. I am disputing a transaction I was charged for services I didn't receive. After pre-registering for a credit card and making an initial deposit of $49, I received six emails stating my application couldn't be approved. Unaware that my account would still be debited, I called to cancel everything and request a refund. I hope in the future, I'll remember to have a card ready before using any services.

I encountered an issue after switching from my Microsoft [redacted] smartphone and can no longer access my Capital One account on my laptop. Despite trying various methods like phone verification and contacting customer service, I have not been successful in resolving this for over 2 weeks. Currently, I have resorted to checking my balance via phone as I do not own a smartphone. It seems Capital One assumes everyone uses smartphones, which is not true in my case. I attempted to escalate the matter to a supervisor and two other agents, but unfortunately, no resolution was reached. This inconvenience is substantial as transferring my direct deposit to a new bank that allows online banking without smartphone access can take up to 8 weeks.

I am looking to close my account, but I've been struggling with their customer support line due to high call volume. I am disappointed by the lack of other contact options like online messaging or email. It seems odd that they only provide a US mail address in this digital age. The reason for closing my account is that they are offering new customers higher interest rates and have refused to adjust my existing rate despite my loyalty since they acquired the account from ING. Their suggestion was for me to open a new account to access the higher rate, which led me to decide it would be easier to close my current account.

I need to make a payment on my Capital One card, but I've lost the card. I previously used the app, but it logged me out due to inactivity for 31 days. Whenever I try calling to speak with someone, order a new card, or report it lost, they ask for my 16-digit card number, which I can't provide since the card is lost. I'm concerned about missing payments and am struggling to reach a live person on the phone without being asked for the 16-digit number. Please assist.

I am having trouble retrieving my username and password for my credit card account. I attempted to recover my username online, but was unable to proceed as my phone number is not recognized in their system. Despite not owning a cell phone, I provided my landline number. After multiple phone calls, I was instructed to scan my driver's license and email it to the Documentation Department at Capital One. However, they claimed the image was too small to read and requested a resend. I am frustrated by the difficulty in resolving this issue and am dismayed by the lack of technical support from the company. I misplaced my debit card and noticed unauthorized charges made after canceling it. Even though the card was deactivated, there were additional unauthorized transactions. Capital One contacted me, and I confirmed the charges were not mine. The bank temporarily refunded the $[redacted].91 for disputed charges. However, I recently received a letter from Capital One stating no evidence of fraud was found, and they plan to withdraw the credit on 01/07/20. This will leave my account in a negative balance just before my SSDI check on 01/08/20. Could the withdrawal be postponed to 01/08/20 to avoid overdrawing my account? I wish to address a recent issue with Capital One regarding a disputed charge related to a Turkish Airlines reservation cancellation. The Capital One representative advised me to resubmit the claim for further investigation. I complied and provided all necessary documentation. However, I received a letter dated 11/18/19, requesting additional information which was not communicated to me prior to closing the case. Despite the closure, I believe that better assistance should be provided considering the circumstances where Turkish Airlines took advantage of a pregnant passenger. I value Capital One as a customer, but improvements are needed in handling such cases to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
