A few weeks ago, I bought a Canon Printer PIXMA MG3620 in Red to replace my old HP Printer. After using up the remaining ink on the HP printer, I unboxed the Canon printer a couple of days ago. I downloaded the setup from the Canon site and went through the installation process. Unfortunately, the printing results were garbled in some areas with voids in other places. Upon registering the printer on the Canon site, I sought technical support to resolve the issue and make it compatible with my MacBook Air [redacted]. Surprisingly, the message I received stated that my printer was no longer supported, leaving me unable to access technical assistance. I managed to receive limited online support from a technician who slightly improved the printing speed, which still took longer than expected. I then purchased XL Canon cartridges, costing $58 plus tax, suspecting that the starter cartridges were depleted. Despite these efforts, I have yet to print a page correctly after spending $69 plus tax on the printer and an additional $58 plus tax on new cartridges. Being a senior on a fixed income, this has been a substantial investment for me with disappointing results, and I am hopeful for a resolution.

Hello Canon Tech Support, I own a Maxify MB2120 and a Maxify MB2320 and I use them infrequently for small batches of work. I've noticed they consume a lot of ink when starting up. I am looking for guidance on how to reduce ink usage. Specifically, should I leave the printers on or off when not in use? Does leaving them in sleep mode consume less ink during periods of non-use? I'm curious if the printers clean during sleep mode and how often. Will they perform the same deep cleaning as when turned on? Do they use more ink in sleep mode over a month compared to turning them on once a month? Also, when I wake the printer from sleep mode, will it perform a cleaning cycle again? I'd like to know if the print heads are "parked" during sleep mode or only when powered off with the button. I appreciate any assistance you can provide to help me understand the printer's operations better so I can make informed decisions. Thank you for your help! Best regards, Brent

I bought a Canon printer (Maxify MB2720) less than a year ago, and it's been nothing but trouble. It won't operate and keeps showing me the message to unplug and replug to fix the issue. Even after reinstalling it, the problem persists, displaying support code B504. I stocked up on ink, now feeling like I wasted money. As a person on a fixed income, this is frustrating. I believed Canon would be a long-lasting choice, but it stopped working well three weeks ago. I'm at a loss for what to do. Very disappointed. Sincerely, Philip C. Clio, MI. [redacted]

I am having issues with my EOS Rebel T7. I have been wirelessly downloading photos successfully, but now there seems to be a problem. The Canon Connect app keeps prompting me to register my camera, and despite my attempts, it's not successful, and the request keeps coming up repeatedly. My camera's WiFi is enabled, the iPad is selected, and the light keeps flashing. I can see the camera in the WiFi settings on my iPad. I have tried deleting the Canon Connect app, turning off the iPad, and reinstalling the app from the App Store, but the problem persists. How can I troubleshoot this issue and get my camera and iPad synced again? I am feeling frustrated with this situation. Thank you for your help.

I recently purchased a wireless Canon printer during the Cyber Monday sale. It arrived yesterday, and I attempted to set it up today. However, I encountered an issue where it displayed an error message reading 1 p 0, indicating a paper jam, even though there was no paper jammed. Despite following the setup instructions in the handbook and powering it on, I was unable to clear the error using the buttons on the printer. I researched online but haven't found a solution yet. How can I fix this problem with the printer displaying a false paper jam error?

I placed an order for a refurbished RF 50mm F/1.2 lens on Canon USA's website last Friday using a credit card through PayPal. However, I haven't received a confirmation from Canon, and PayPal only shows it as authorized, not paid. I assumed the transaction wasn't completed and reordered on Saturday, including two more lenses (RF 15-35mm f/2.8 and RF 50mm F/1.8). I don't want two RF 50mm F/1.2 lenses. Can you cancel one of the RF 50mm F/1.2 orders so I only get charged for one along with the other two lenses? Thank you.

I purchased a Canon ImageClass MF264DW printer from Staples in June [redacted] with an additional toner cartridge. The Serial Number is 2EH90412. When the original toner ran out in August, I replaced it with a new OEM toner but the machine did not recognize it. After speaking with Richard C from Technical Support, I received another OEM toner that worked for a week. I contacted Canon again in August but lost track of the name. They sent a replacement printer, Serial Number 2EH55369, with more than expected. I returned the original printer as instructed. The new toner cartridge supplied with the replacement printer stopped working on December 5, [redacted]. Despite trying two different cartridges and following the printer instructions, it still says the toner needs replacing. This is the second printer with the same issue. I need help in resolving this, please.

I clearly provided a separate mailing address and billing address, and I confirmed multiple times that they were correct. However, the ink shipment was sent to the billing address instead of the mailing address, which is over 2 hours away. Now, my printer is out of ink, and I have no way to replace it since it was sent to the wrong location. I urgently require the ink to be sent to the correct mailing address without any further delays.

I am currently using Windows 11 as my operating system. I have a Canon MF6540 printer that is functioning properly, including the scanner feature using the Toolbox program. However, I made an error and unintentionally removed the scanner driver, ToolBox4911mf18, and I am encountering difficulties trying to reinstall it. Despite following the installation process meticulously, the scanner program is not getting installed during the final step. As an attempt to resolve this issue, I reinstalled the printer driver hoping it would enable me to reinstall the scanner driver, but unfortunately, it has not been successful. At the moment, only the printer functionality is operational.

I am experiencing a "Server Busy" error message while trying to scan a document using the Maxify GX4020 printer. The issue pertains to running a 64-bit Windows 10 system with a 32-bit scanning application. According to Microsoft's documentation from September [redacted] (Original KB number [redacted]), the error is due to an OLE call from the 32-bit scanning application. To resolve this, the developer needs to adjust the AfxOlegetMessageFilter value by modifying the m-nTimeout parameter. You will need to add a line of code after calling the AfxOleInit() function to disable the timeout of the OLE. It is recommended to inform the software developer about this issue and potential fix for scanning through a third-party application. It can be frustrating when the third-party software times out with the "Server Busy" message during scanning. Implementing this fix will enhance the product's functionality when used with other software applications. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated, as resolving this issue will reflect positively on your product and department. Sincerely, P. M.

I recently acquired a new Canon G7020 printer and I am seeking advice from someone experienced with traveling with this printer model. The printer manual provides no information on potential issues while on the move. As my motorhome serves as a mobile office, I'm concerned about the printer's performance during travel. The manual mentions "bagging" the printer during relocation, which I interpret as moving it in a van or truck. Despite securing the printer on a 2" foam pad, vibrations from the road could be a concern. Additionally, our route includes elevation changes from [redacted]' to 8,[redacted]' above sea level. I'm unsure if such shifts may cause ink leaks. Having previously traveled with HP and Epson cartridge printers, with occasional print head alignment, I wonder if this tank ink system will be suitable for my mobile setup.

As a loyal customer of Canon printers including the MG7700 series, I recently updated the firmware as advised. After the update, my devices couldn't connect to the printer on the network, despite being on the same network. Troubleshooting led me to purchase a new Canon printer that connected seamlessly. Although my old printer was six years old and working perfectly, I faced compatibility issues with the new cartridges I had purchased. I hope Canon's technical team can investigate this firmware issue, as it seems others have encountered similar problems based on online discussions. Sincerely, Dr. Steven Berk

Hello, I am currently experiencing an issue with a printer under warranty. After speaking with a Canon technician, they assessed the printer's condition via wifi as non-functional and mentioned that a replacement would be sent at no cost. However, I have not received any confirmation or tracking information regarding the shipment. I believe there may have been an oversight on Canon USA's part. I would appreciate an update on the status of the replacement printer, as well as any available tracking details in case it has encountered shipping issues. The printer model in question is a Pixma TS [redacted] with the serial number AGJC06456. My address is on file, as I had previously registered the product and provided the receipt upon request from the technician. I am hoping for a prompt resolution to this matter. Contacting Canon via phone or their website has proven to be challenging, hence my reaching out here. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Susan S.

I ordered a G7X in mid-April. Unfortunately, on April 28, [redacted], I received an empty envelope. I have reached out to Canon, FedEx, and my bank for assistance. Despite my efforts, it is now May 31st, and I have not received any updates. The lack of communication has been frustrating, given the poor customer service I have experienced. I received an email from customer support on May 15, [redacted], offering a replacement or a refund for the lost item. However, since then, I haven't received any further communication or a refund. The delay in resolving this issue has been unreasonable. I am disappointed by the lack of progress and the prolonged wait for a resolution.

I bought two Pixma [redacted] XL Black cartridges (expiry dates 1-24-23 and 4-8-23). However, each cartridge only printed about a quarter of a page. The cartridge packaging states a yield of [redacted] pages, but this is not what I am getting. I am concerned about the poor output and cost efficiency. I own a Pixma TR4500 printer, but I am unable to find a way to check the exact number of pages printed in the menu settings. Can you provide assistance on this matter? Thank you for your assistance.

I recently installed my new Canon printer PIXMA TR8622a and it worked fine for a day. However, it is now showing as offline. I have been unable to receive help from customer service because it requires me to create a Canon account, which I have done. Although I registered the printer, I have not received the carepak activation email, which is where I am stuck. Without this email, I am unable to contact customer service for assistance. I am frustrated with the process and considering returning the printer. Dealing with Canon has been challenging, and after spending five days and numerous hours trying to resolve this issue, I have reached my limit. I doubt I will purchase from Canon again.

From Steve Godfrey at [redacted] Camberly St, Cocoa FL [redacted]: I am disabled and recently bought four Canon [redacted] XL and [redacted] XL black printer ink cartridges from Walmart. When I opened them, I found that someone at Walmart had replaced them with old, used, and broken cartridges. Walmart refused to help and suggested I contact Canon. A Canon tech support representative mentioned similar issues with Walmart and suspected foul play by Walmart employees. I am about to undergo surgery and can't speak, so I have to resort to email or text. I will be in the hospital for several weeks. Please assist me as my funds are tight, and I urgently need these printer cartridges for important VA documents. Please replace the four black cartridges. Steve Godfrey, I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you for your understanding and assistance. Kindly forward this to the appropriate help desk at Canon.

Subject: Software Developer Contact Information Needed for Scanner Evaluation Greetings, I am reaching out regarding the ImageFormula DR-C255II desktop document scanners purchased by the Hill AFB [redacted] Missiles Maintenance Group for a document conversion project. Despite filing the necessary application review worksheet with the Wing Cybersecurity Office and AF HQ/CC, we are facing a hurdle in obtaining approval due to missing information. In order to proceed with the evaluation process, we require the sam.gov UID code for the software developer, Canon USA. We have only been able to provide a UID for a reseller, which has caused a delay in the assessment. If there is anyone who can assist or provide the relevant information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Good afternoon, I am writing a message instead of speaking as I am not fluent in English. I recently purchased a Canon imageCLASS LBP6230dw printer. I downloaded the MAC drivers from the CANON website as I use a MAC-mini [redacted] with macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H2026). When setting up my printer, I entered the serial number NTXA237465 (September [redacted]). 1 - The USB driver installed correctly, but I am encountering an issue where only the second of two pages prints. The first page shows a printer error. 2 - I am unable to install the WiFi driver as the installer icon is crossed out. My computer does not recognize the driver mac-lbp6[redacted]-fw-v0110 (Disk image - 9.9 MB). Thank you for your assistance, Ildar Talachev from New York, August 4, [redacted].

I recently bought a Canon Maxify GX6201 printer, but I am encountering problems with the admin password. The printer is not accepting the correct password despite it being confirmed online. I find this printer not user-friendly and struggle with the complex online guides. I am not IT-trained and would appreciate assistance over the phone. I really want to be satisfied with my new purchase, but I am considering returning it due to these ongoing issues.
