I scheduled an appointment for COVID-** testing on Friday, October **, **** for **:** PM. I arrived ** minutes before my appointment and there were * cars in line. The first car did not move for at least ** to ** minutes. After waiting for * hour, the * cars in front of me suddenly left after being told something at the window. When I arrived at the window, I was asked if I was there for the COVID test. This was through a speaker only. I did not see the person speaking. The woman said "You're going to have to return at *:** when the nurse practitioner returns." That was it. No apology, no explanation, nothing. After people have been kept waiting for an hour past a scheduled time, the first thing out of your mouth should be an apology. The second thing should be an explanation. I was stunned and drove away. I called when I arrived home to speak to the manager. I was told Courtney was not at work, and wouldn't return to the end of the month. I asked for her supervisor's name, and was told I could reach Lindsay by calling * *** shopCVS. I unsuccessfully tried to reach Lindsay several times before giving up. I'd like an explanation of why CVS staff would ask customers to sit on line for an hour and then tell them to come back later in the day.
