I am having a problem getting my prescription filled at CVS pharmacy ***** in Louisa VA. My Rx is for a schedule II. I have been getting it filled there for several months. Now all of a sudden they say they are no longer filling prescriptions from that practice. Dr. Garland Green has been treating me for years. But Medicare is no longer paying for his prescriptions. I knew that and have been paying for my medicine since the last of March. He is no longer a participating doctor with Medicare. That box that the pharmacist sees is only stating he is not Medicare compliant. It does not mean they cant fill his prescriptions. Dr Greene is my pain doctor. I have chronic pain due to a birth defect in my lower back and legs. It is inoperable. I have had two heart attacks with a triple bypass open heart surgery.. I have had two major strokes and several TIA"s. I have vascular disease requiring intervention and stents.which will be done in the coming weeks.Now that the doctors are sending the Rx's in electroniclly I can't take the prescription somewhere else to get it filled. thats interfering with my medical treatment. Please tell the pharmacy mgr's Dr Greens Rx can be filled his dea license is valid. Maybe we can get this resolved without the board of Pharmacy
