I was trying to receive a price on a new medication for my child. ... I called a CVS pharmacy that’s close to my house to check on a price for a new medication my child was prescribed. I was on hold for almost ** minutes before anyone answered the phone. When the pharmacist answered, she told me that there was no way to give a price for the medication because she didn’t have the script. I’ve called other times am with a new med script and was given an exact price. She wouldn’t help me and hung up on me. I went up to the pharmacy. I then asked for the price of the medication. I also wanted to know why the pharmacist hung up in my face. The pharmacist immediately got an attitude. Told me that she isn’t giving me a price, snatched the paper out of the other employees hand, she literally crumbled up my script. The. Told me that my tag will be taken and that the police will be notified as she is getting me for harassment. I’m jot sure what she meant by that. I simply just wanted to check on a price for my child’s medication. The pharmacist told my husband that we are no longer allowed at that pharmacy to refill any meds. My family and I have used this pharmacy for the last ** years or so. So now because we are not allowed back at this particular pharmacy that’s located at **** West Main Street, Dothan, AL, we have to now travel **-** minutes out of the way to get my husbands diabetic meds and my child’s adhd and seizure meds filled at another pharmacy. I think it’s sad that the pharmacy employees think it’s okay to treat customers this way. They always have an attitude, always!! I wish something would be done about this! None of them are ever friendly to my husband or myself. And it always takes *-* hours to fill * of my child’s or husbands meds. That’s just absurd to me.
I wasn’t harassing anyone like they claimed. I was just simply trying to get a price.
I’d like for all the pharmacy employees to be replaced with new ones. All the employees are rude and never make any experience I have at the pharmacy an enjoyable one. I always leave feeling disappointed.
I always have everything on hand if or when they need it or ask for it. I’ve been a customer with CVS for over ** years.
No. The pharmacist wouldn’t listen to me and continued to yell that she was calling the police on me for whatever reason.
