My name is Nathan Britto, I had a terrible travel day on Sunday, so I finally arrived at the hotel (Best Western-Dartmouth, MA) around * am to check into my already confirmed reservation after a long horrible day of travel. I checked in and they had my reservation. Just before I was handed my room key the gentleman behind the desk said “oh your credit card is not going thru”. I said I already used the card to reserve my room, there is no reason it wouldn’t work. I would of used my other credit card but it was it was in my luggage that was lost on my flight. I asked him to run it again and still wouldn’t. So o politely asked if I could just go to the bank in the morning and pay cash. He said No. he asked if I could call someone to come up with the funds. But it’s *AM MO ONE WAS UP. I called my cc company and they told me it should be working no reason it shouldn’t be. So he tried again and nothing. He then asked where are you going to sleep, I replied “apparently outside because something is wrong with your system. I said I can leave you my cellphone and CC and go to the bank first thing in the morning. Well I slept outside across the street from the hotel in the woods because it was *am and my cc for no good reason wouldn’t go they after I already put it on file and received a confirmation from Best western that I was all set and under the impression my room was paid for. I can’t believe this is the Customer Service that Best Western provides there customers especially one who has stayed there a few times recently. I was bit by Mosquitoes all night, shivering and freezing cold and I still feel like **** three days later. I was blown away that I was treated like that. I have a family member who works for channel ** news and she said when I’m ready I can tell my story to New England all about Best Westerns customer service. There must be something that can be done.
