Dear Michelle,*Please help. I am forwarding all corispondence and I apeal to GIECO because it's not fair what had been done. I called the registry the RMV of Massachusetts and there is absolutely NO citation or tickets on my driving and plate and registration record for my PT Cruiser and today the registry is fixing the oversite which allowed for false information regarding a lien on my title from New England Finance ( I can prove that I paid that title loan company in February of last year and it's just Now going to be removed as soon as the RMV gets the fax proof which is already on the desk of Mr ????? From the titles Dept. He and I spoke. I am willing ( and this is my appeal) to minus my hatch from comprehensive and my windshield as even though to me it's obvious the criminal or criminals who vandalized my car added to any existing damage such as my windshield that one should note I already let GEICO know about the windshield long before and I never claimed the vandalism was done to my hatch but I did mention the reason I am in pain is because I was rear-ended and suffer from injuries still caused by a wreckless driver who rear ended me. But I did not have dents and scratched all over my car and door* corner problems. And only God knows what damage these vadaliser(s) may have done to my engine or gas tank or suspension But it should be noted also that the adjuster never had key to do s full inspection, and Syd's Auto Body will verify that fir you with the truth if this matter as they themselves asked me for the key * days ago just in case the adjuster needs to check on vehicle structure or engine tampering or axle damage it any other number of problems that I did not have before they vandalized it. Normally an adjuster will use key to open door and hood to see interior and engine. One would assume an adjuster would put the car up on a lift at an authorized GEICO repair*inspection station but this adjuster chose to just look at the car with his eye and make many noted assumptions about average conditions. Also as no adjuster has not even done a full inspection of engine and body strut and structure * suspension and such which shows this was a rushed inspection and even if you ignore the hatch and windshield and remove them from the equation there are many and most likely many more hidden problems that may exist so the vehicle should still be estimated at over $****.** in damage as as stated only GOD knows what might be wrong with the car. It should be duly noted that I passed inspection after I had repairs done and my record with MD Motors reflects that fact proving I kept up with regular maintenance and they can prove I had no oil or transmission problems and that I passed inspection and that other than the hatch ( which the vandals made worse) I feel safe to say they would vouch that I kept it clean and had always kept up on fluids and the tires and oil and gas tank and engine purred like a kitten at my last fully passed inspection. So that proves that I must obviously have done enough engine and body repairs and made sure car was once again structurally safe to drive again . Note that MD motors would not have passed my inspection unless the car engine was working properly and mist certainly would not have let me drive away after passing inspection with a car that was not structurally sound and safe as they are professional mechanics with a great reputation. If I had not passed inspection AFTER the accident in JANUARY I could see it looking odd, but the truth , documented proof of my last inspection shows that I did indeed do everything required to pass inspection so I could register and insure car again. Also it should as of high importance that the adjuster chose to agree to leave car at Syd's Auto salvage yard ( which charges money per day ) to do his estimate and yet to be done thoural inspection, rather than have the car towed to an authorized GEICO mechanic shop garage express it otherwise, he, the adjuster therefore gave the impression to Syds Auto Body that GEICO was paying for the tow and storage. I was informed that perhaps a payment is being made to Syd's Auto from GEICO because otherwise I would have asked GEICO to get it out of there. Instead of choosing to get in contact with Syd's the days just go by and the storage fees increase all waiting for the adjuster to finish the inspection. An estimate is nice but s full inspection would make it possible to truly perform an accurate diagnoses not just an assumed evaluation, accusation, or assumption. But to make matters easier and to clarify, I was and am more that willing to allow GEICO to ignore hatch and ignore windshield in it's adjustments because that is fair enough and I am in agreement that the hatch itself and the windshield be left out and as you do that, then after minus those * items there is to be sure many thousands of dollars worth of vandalism ASIDE from the hatch( trunk lift) and the windshield. It's not fair that adjuster makes assumption numerous times on evaluation. When adjuster says he did not have access it's because he refused to ask for the key. And as stated the key is in the possession of Syd's Auto Body ehinhsve been waiting for GEICO to pick it up since they had notice if total loss. I don't feel the car is safe to drive and unless the adjuster started the engine and took a drive he would have no way of knowing if it's safe and would be in in fact putting me at risk of injury to suddenly make it seem as if it was all like that and leaving out the fact I did all required repairs since the accident in January enough to satisfy inspection pass requirements assume all I need is tires . That's really wrong. But asvssud if he wants to assume hatch and windshield that I had already told GEICO about in documented detail, should not benosrt if equation I am in agreement with that hatch and windshield bring left out, but fir adjuster to now try to out of spite apparently that I went over his head and alerted corporate , to now try to make it impossible for me to get my car as I don't have storage fees and I don't have a tow truck. As I was instructed to return plates to the registry of motor vehicles now my registration is going to cancel out and the plates destroyed. All along I faithfully pay my insurance bill even tho my car has been vandalized and not drivable and if GEICO'S policy is to only pay storage at a salvage yard after the date the claim was reported then at least I can safely assume that GEICO would be paying at least from the date I was informed by the town hall and then called GEICO and Syd's. I am poor and because if the car accident I am disabled. I invested of money into my car and I deserve more than the adjuster has quoted. I request a different adjuster as this one cares less apparently about me and it seems that his plan is for me to lose my car and owe money for storage even though the adjuster could have had the car towed the sane day I filed the claim. He reached out to Syd's Auto body and as a matter of fact and record he did fast eyeball evaluation and never seen engine and other that looking through window he never entered vehicle and he also never put car up on a hydraulic lift to check for all mechanical or structurall issues. Not to play devil's advocate , but I understand he was about to go on vacation and perhaps was in a rush. *So I will forward all emails and documents but I can tell you that they he and part of his team were NOT happy that I contacted you and they not being my lawyer told me bit to talk to anyone but him about my claim, but then he just leaves me and all I am doing is leaving unanswered voicemail and he also did not call back Syd's Auto Body. I should point out that if the adjuster wanted to do the evaluation at a different location the storage fees and tow would have been considerably lower. I don't have the money and I am shocked that adjuster would make GEICO look bad by not getting back in touch with Syd's and also he had someone call me and laugh and say you might not have been guilty of abandoning your car but if we at GEICO don't pick up your car you will end up with abandoned car charges. Note I had road side assistance and if needed a tow or charge of battery or gas I could of have used that feature but I had no idea that my car was vandalized then towed there to Syd's Auto until long after when I got a letter from my friend's at the town Hall. So I beg for help as adjuster is mad at me for talking to you and exposing his mistakes and errors. He has made it look like GEICO reps trick salvage yards into free ties and storage. I have a driveway and I have land so I don't need my car stored anywhere. I was told by adjuster to leave car there he would inspect it there at Syd's and everyday that goes by and the longer it remains at Syd's each day cost money. I don't have ****.** to give to a Auto place and I would have had used my road side assistance to get my car out if there right from the start of my knowledge of it being there. As soon it was brought to my attention I contacted Syd's Auto and GEICO. Shouldn't I have been able to request GEICO to move my car to somewhere else so that GEICO could iinspect it? But it seemed like adjuster was purposely letting the storage fees run up. He tried to seek me my car back for ***.** and I said I wanted to donate it and he got mad at me for calling GEICO corporate and having others oversee what Joseph Burns was doing because as you know he had things all wrong and there were manythings that needed to be fixed with my claim. I don't want to have to pay a lawyer I can't afford to help me but when adjuster offers me $****.** one day and then after I speak to you he offers me $***.** as a settlement that should prove I am not being treated right by this adjuster. By the way he is personally known to me and I fear he may have a conflict of interest in this claim as I ran away from his families foster home for fear of my safety as a child. The family he is related to might not be happy that I ran away back then they lost the check they got each month for having me as a foster kids. Now yes that may also be an assumed reason but it's a possibility. I see no other reason other than that for a possible reason why he had done this to me. He knows each day it costs more and I should not be responsible for fees added after he told Syd's Auto Body. The lady is nice that runs the place but I have no way of paying her and I never wanted my car there. I hope since the adjuster made no effort to move car he made at least a verbal agreement with Syd's on behalf of GEICO as adjuster acting on behalf of GEiCO gave the impression to Syd's and again adjuster never asked for key. I was about to overnight it when Syd's requested it in case adjuster needed it. At that point I was given plates as requested to do so by GEICO and returned then to RMV office in Southbridge Massachusetts. Attached is a copy of the odometer statement and I would like you know I appreciate your help and I have been praying that God will help me as it is my hope that if I provide all the information and if you look over the while cksin you will see that I have not been given a fair amount to do anything at this point. I have no idea what to do other that ask you to please review this case and you msjevs proper judgement call as you will see he is going very extremely low and making it look as if I should be punished for speaking to you or any printinghim as if he is my lawyer and fir you pointng out that he had things all wrong with my claim and claim needed to be fixed. He is trying to get me to owe money to Syd's Auto and now that I reurned plates to RMV I can't use road side assistance to have it brought home or to mechanic shop I trust. Seems I am being placed in a terrible position. I feel betrayed I by this man because after lecturing at me for taking to others at GEICO other than him about my claim it appears he seeks to play a number game and make it where now I lose my car and have to pay more than my settlement to pay stiage and tow fees and have no plate to push it home if I had to beg someone to push it even I cannot. I am stuck. Is this really the way I am going to be treated by GEICO when I have a clean record and excellent driving record I have a clean title clear title I have no criminal record and excellent driving record proving I am good a good person with no record of wrongs. I have used GEICO in several other vehicles and have been a loyal fan and customer of many years. I seek justice and have been cooperative and patient. I need this resolved so I don't need to the extra stress of having Syd's Auto body Shop saying that if GEICO'S not going to pay then I owe them and they want money right away by Friday and I have no way to move car and no money to fix car. What do I do??
