The issue in GetHuman-giverso's own words
I was refunded the money spent of an online purchase, the money has not shown back up on my debit card. I spoke with the company I purchased from and they stated the refund went through. The company provided me the transaction code and provided me with a physical copy of the refund. *I called Bank of America questioning as to why the refund has not shown up back on my account. Bank of America stated that they need to mail me a dispute form that I need to fill out and mail back to them so that they can look into the issue because they dont see a refund. I explained that I can provide them with all the information they would need, by email or fax. Bank of America again stated I need to wait for the form in the mail and then fill it out and mail it back to them. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the supervisor I spoke with kept cutting me off, spoke so fast I could understand what they were saying. When I asked to speak with another supervisor I was told there were no other supervisors. They suggested I call the merchant back and ask them to refund the money again. The company has already told me the refund has gone through on their end as well as already verified all of my information including card number. They can not process it again as their bank information shows the refund as going through.*I am elderly amd retired and every bit of money I have is important. *I don't understand why no one would allow me to provide the information verbally or by email. And that I need to dipute the charge via mail, the charge was valid but returned and refunded in the same matter it was purchased online. Again they provided me with a copy of the electronic refund. No one provided me with any option other than mail?*How is this fair?*Patricia Semple
