I have owned * Bmws. My wife recently purchased a preowneded certified ***i.*We decided to purchase the platinum*BMW extended service contract at an*additional cost of $*,***.** dollars. I believe money well spent for peace of mind coverage going forward.*However I feel if necessary to comment*to BMW that the $**.** deductible *associated with the top of the line platinum coverage is extremely petty and in my opinion is not consistent*with the BMW name and industry reputation among BMW owners.*It is disappointing to me that I purchased a similar platinum contract a few years ago for my daughter's Jeep with zero deductible.*In my opinion there should be no comparison between BMW products*vs Jeep products in terms of customer offerings yet in this case Jeep comes out on top for a petty ** dollar deductible.*As a BMW owner I feel privileged to be able drop my car off for service under a platinum service contract and know it will be serviced for me at no charge.*The $**.** deductible is so petty and not becoming to the BMW reputation.*I might suggest to BMW as far as the platinum service contract is concerned,*If it is a matter of ** dollars roll it into the base cost of the platinum package. Platinum coverage with a ** dollar deductible gives the appearance of petty and desperate and should not be associated with the BMW name.*It pains me to compare Jeep to BMW and know I felt better about my daughter's Jeep contract than my recent BMW coverage simply over a ** dollar deductible attached to BMW's top of the line coverage.**Thank you*Bruce
