I purchased a leather recliner from Ashley home furniture and received it on March **. After *-* days I noticed a loud popping noise coming from the left armrest and reported to the store’s customer service and was told I would get contacted by someone in **-** hours. After ** hours I called back and was told to give them another day or *. No one called so I went back to the store and told my salesman my problem. He asked if I called the toll free number and I told him I called the stores local number and spoke to an agent.*He took me to the back to ask someone else what to do and she said that the complaint probably hadn’t been entered in the computer correctly so she said it would be done right this time and someone would contact me in **-** hours. No contact after ** hours so I called the toll free customer care number and the agent said that someone had called me the previous day and left a voicemail. This was wrong because the number is my cell phone and I got no calls and no voicemail. I told him I didn’t want to argue I just wanted my chair fixed or replaced. He advise someone would call the next day. No call so I called back and got an agent that said they would have someone out to look at the chair on Saturday April * and they would contact me *-* ahead and give me a time frame. Saturday at *pm I called and told an agent my problem and they said they would check and put me on hold. After **-** minutes on hold I was cut off. I redialed and was telling the agent my problem and was cut off again. Called again and got a nice agent (Heather) and she advised that my problem couldn’t be handled by them and she would turn it over to a service coordinator and have them contact me today (Monday). I still have not been contacted. I told Heather I am a frustrated old man and I can’t deal with this problem and now I will only take a new chair or get a ***% refund.
