It is with great disappointed that I am contacting you concerning a pair of Beats Headphones that I purchased in April ****. The headphones were working fine for * months and then I started to notice that the left earpiece was playing very low. I have been a loyal customer with apple since **** purchasing * Mac book pro's, Apple Watches, several iPads just to name a few and I have never had any problems with my products. I called into the apple repair center and was given instruction to email in my headset to check for repair and I was told that I needed to pay over half of what I paid for the headset if I wanted them repaired. The rep who only would give me his first name (Richard) and no other identifying id* suggested that I damaged the headphones earpiece screen which I find very difficult since I have not removed the earpiece covers since purchased them and I only removed them to send in repair. The headphones that I purchased were Beats X and at the time I purchased them they had a retail value of $***. I find it absolutely disturbing that I was told that I needed to pay $** for my headphones to be repaired adding up to $*** total that I would have spent on these headphones. I asked the rep what I could have possibly done to have damaged this part and his response was I do not know. I may be a small ion in the millions of customers that purchase from your company but I hope my confidence in the apple brand can be restored.
