On October **th, I contacted American Home Shield to request service for my Gas Furnace. They sent me a notification that one of their partners would contact me to come out in the next ** hours. I called the their referred partner the next day when I didn't hear from them. About a week later, their service partner (from Premier Heating) finally called me. By then, I was lucky enough to have been able to get my furnace to work and it seemed to be good to go. I let him know that I didn't need his service at that time. Now, my furnace has stopped working again. I went to the website to request service again and logged in to my account. There, I saw that there was a record of my previous service request and it looked like the service was performed. Sure enough, I found a $*** service charge from American Home Shield on my credit card back on October **th. I tried calling * times to talk to someone at the company and waited ** minutes, ** minutes and then finally called sales. Sales answered immediately but then said they had to transfer me to billing. So.... now I've been on hold again for about ** minutes and nobody has answered. The bottom line is that I need my original service charge to be refunded and I now need a new service call. However, I'm certainly hesitant about being referred to the same HVAC company that waited a week before getting back to me. We have no heat! Help!
