The issue in GetHuman-nikkeesa's own words
Hello, I ordered an item (Dr Brown Bottles, purple bottles *oz) and these were guaranteed delivered by the **th of March. This is my daughter*s bday* These did not show up until ****, * days after her birthday* When I contacted customer service by chat, they told me there is nothing they can do. Then offered me $*. I asked for a refund of the purchase amount and they said no. They said this is not possible because I used a promotional credit for purchase. I asked them to reissue the credit and he this is not possible unless we return the bottles. I don't see how it is reasonable to ask me to ask my daughter to send back her very late birthday present and I told him as much. He continued to say for a long time that there is nothing he can do and that unless the bottles are returned, he cannot help. I advised this is a horrible option and that i would simply just purchase from elsewhere in the future He did eventually agree to give the credit but only after telling me no reputedly. why? Why did he waste such a huge amount of my time? I don't understand how it made sense to ask e to send the bottles back when I already told him they were for her birthday?
GetHuman-nikkeesa did not yet indicate what Amazon should do to make this right.
