My name is Shannon Brophy and today I was supposed to fly out with Aer Lingus from Barcelona to Dublin, then Dublin to Boston where I live. I got to the airport three hours early, and was given a “stand by” ticket. I had no idea this even existed. I was supposed to board with my five friends, and three of us got these types of tickets. After waiting, and with our luggage on the plane, they told us there is not enough room on the plane to go get it. They said no more flights available tonight to get to Boston, but we could fly out tomorrow on Iberia airlines at *:** pm. They gave us a little paper with flight “****” on it, but very little information. I cannot even check in online. I am panicking, when I called Iberia customer service to confirm all set they could not get an english speaker on the line. Please someone email me back and tell me this is all set. I am missing work, and this is after I booked tickets month in advance. I just want to make sure I will be going back to Boston tomorrow. My name is Shannon Brophy, date of birth is May *, ****.
