I was responding to an email message asking for support, and I clicked on the $5 donation option. When I tried to complete the transaction, I forgot my password and was told I would receive a way to reset it. Unfortunately, I lost contact with Act Blue and couldn't get back to their page. Later, I discovered I was charged $25 instead of $5. I tried calling the provided number but only received a recording. I want a full refund of $25 and do not wish to use the site again. Once the refund is processed, please remove my information from your records.

I recently made a one-time contribution through Act Blue, but when I submitted my donation, a small box was checked indicating a monthly contribution setup, which I did not want. Despite expecting a confirmation email after the transaction on July 30, [redacted], I haven't received one. I am concerned about the difficulty in stopping this. Automatically checking the box for monthly donations seems deceptive. I'm frustrated trying to cancel as it has been challenging and seemingly intentionally made difficult to do so.

This morning I received the following email: "Alex Forde <[redacted]> 6:46 PM (18 hours ago) to me Hi Ronald, Thank you for your $[redacted] donation to End Citizens United! If you have any questions or if you believe this donation was made by mistake, please do not hesitate to contact me directly so we can resolve it. In solidarity, Alex" The donation amount of "$[redacted].00" is an error. I intended to donate only $5.00! I have replied to them via email: "Ron Wold <[redacted]> 1:13 PM (26 minutes ago) to Alex WAIT A MINUTE!!! I did not mean to donate $[redacted].00! I meant to give $5.00! This needs to be CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY! Sincerely, Ronald P. Wold" I am hopeful this mistake will be rectified. Is there anything else Act Blue could do to help me resolve this? Thank You, Ronald P. Wold

I have contacted ActBlue multiple times to cancel my account. Despite my efforts, I keep getting charged between $1 and $5, totaling $22 since 9/1/18. I have tried looking for solutions on the website but it only directs me to email or call, which has not been helpful. I have left messages with no response. Please reach out to me at [redacted] to resolve this issue. I am getting anxious about the continuous charges. Will I have to wait until next week for a response? Should I contact the Better Business Bureau for assistance? I am struggling with this situation, and I urgently need it to be resolved. You can also contact me at [redacted]

I visited a candidate's website to make my first-ever contribution at the age of 60+. After completing the donation, I noticed it redirected me to ActBlue without prior notice. To my surprise, I received two confirmation emails the next day, one correct and the other splitting my donation among seven unfamiliar candidates, effectively doubling the contribution. Lacking contact phone numbers for the candidate or ActBlue and with only email communication available, I feel limited in resolving this issue promptly or making additional contributions. This situation feels reminiscent of scams with enticing offers. What began as a patriotic gesture now raises concerns about potential mishandling of my donation by ActBlue. I request a refund for both contributions and transparency regarding the terms between ActBlue and the candidate. Your assistance in addressing this matter promptly would be appreciated. Thank you.

I did not receive email confirmations for my contributions made during the midterm elections. I would like this issue fixed for the previous contributions and for any future ones. I have reached out to you by phone and email before but only got an email saying there were problems sending confirms to a few area codes, including mine. Your tech staff was investigating this, but I haven't heard back since. Please provide confirmations for my midterm contributions and confirm that the issue has been resolved. I am disappointed with your website's setup and functionality, which makes me hesitant to contribute further until I see improvements.

My attorney's office currently pays my bills. They have notified me of the recurring donations totaling almost $[redacted] to Act Blue in the past months, where one-time donations turned into monthly charges. I have identified and corrected some, but I have now instructed my attorney's office and credit card provider to stop any further payments to Act Blue. To ensure this message reaches you, I am directly informing you to cease all donations to Act Blue. For any inquiries, please reach out to my attorney, Mark Nowak at Burns & Levinson Law Firm at [redacted]. - Naomi R. Cohen

I am requesting to cancel all my recurring donations through ActBlue. I was informed via email that Amber J. would assist me, but I'm open to help from any representative. Please send an email from a staff member who can process this request. Initially, I intended to cancel only some donations, but due to difficulty contacting ActBlue promptly, I've decided to cancel them all to better track my finances. Monthly donations exceeding $[redacted] are unsustainable for me. Kindly notify me once all recurring donations are stopped. I will reconsider my recurring donations carefully in the future. I have been a loyal donor for years but may explore other donation methods if necessary. Thank you for your prompt action, Julia M. M. I am disappointed that donors like me no longer have the option to manage recurring donations online, which was a convenient feature in the past. Streamlining this process could enhance donor appreciation and encourage more donations.

I recently set up a recurring $3 contribution to Bernie Sanders, but started receiving excessive emails asking for more donations. Even after opting out, the emails persisted. When I finally opted out forcefully, I received an email stating they couldn't process my recurring payment. I was uncertain if this was due to my complaint about the emails or because I used a gift card. I refrained from replying to avoid further email bombardment. Now, when attempting to make a one-time donation to Bernie Sanders, it seems I am unable to donate at all. The donation boxes are greyed out with no information. It feels unjust that because I do not wish to receive spam emails, I am blocked from donating. I simply want to contribute without being overwhelmed by emails. Why is this situation so challenging to address? Assistance would be appreciated.

Good afternoon, I am aware of the current political situation in our country and I am trying to understand the outcome of the recent election. Although I initially found humor in it, the reality set in quickly after New Year's Eve. Recently, due to some incidents, I have been struggling with mobility issues, but I am setting the stage for my story. I am a proud parent of three adult children who work in fields helping others, and I live in Fairfield County, Connecticut on a modest income of a little over $22,[redacted] annually. I donate to causes that I believe are impactful and support organizations working towards a better world. However, despite wanting to contribute more, I find it challenging to support all the worthy causes that ask for donations. I try my best to give what I can, recently supporting the NRDC and other organizations. I wish there was a way for these groups to understand the financial constraints that some of us face.

I receive numerous emails from Act Blue. I engage by sharing my thoughts on surveys. Despite my efforts, including entering $0 in the "other" box, it seems like my feedback is not acknowledged. It seems contributing financially is prioritized over opinions, which I find discouraging. As I am unable to donate, I feel excluded from supporting the causes I care about. If my suspicions are accurate, I request to be unsubscribed from all correspondence with Act Blue. It appears that my opinions are used solely for fundraising purposes. Therefore, I ask to be removed from all mailing lists associated with Act Blue. I intend to inform my representatives, including presidential candidates, about my experience. It seems like Act Blue is missing an opportunity to engage volunteers due to their focus on monetary contributions. Please ensure my information remains confidential and is not shared or sold to any other parties. Maggie B. Email: [redacted]

I am experiencing extreme frustration as I have made five unsuccessful attempts to access the necessary information. There is a $[redacted] charge dated Sunday, 10/6 which appears to be either erroneous or a result of a $5 donation I may have mistakenly made. This unauthorized charge has already been deducted from my account. I have attempted to seek assistance by leaving a voicemail this morning. I am astonished that there is no phone number available to reach a live representative for immediate support. My name is David Ranzer and you can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]. I urgently request a prompt response. If you are unable to assist immediately, please leave a detailed message regarding your findings. If this matter remains unresolved within 24 hours, I will escalate the issue to Merrill Lynch Bank of America to initiate a fraud investigation. I appreciate your anticipated assistance. Thank you, David Ranzer.

On 11/30/19, there was an error regarding a $50.00 recurring contribution. I only made a one-time contribution of $35.00, not a recurring $50.00. Kindly rectify this issue, refund the $50.00, and cancel any future recurring contributions. The American Express card ending in [redacted] under my name Effie V. French needs this adjustment. Despite my previous attempts, the problem persists. I seek assurance that this error will be corrected promptly, and the $50.00 will be refunded. Thank you, Effie VF.

I have reached out to you three times via email regarding an error with my donation to the Cory Booker campaign but have not received any response. I made a $35.00 contribution, but it was processed as $[redacted].00+. As a person with a disability on a fixed income, I cannot afford this mistake. I followed your guidance on how to rectify the issue, but the lack of communication is concerning. Kindly address this matter promptly.

I am still dealing with an issue related to trying to contribute to Cory Booker's campaign through ActBlue. Despite not receiving a response, I attempted a second contribution. After encountering difficulties, I completed a $[redacted].00 transaction, but I received notifications for two separate contributions totaling $[redacted].00, which is concerning. I have asked for a refund for one of the transactions. My main concern is the lack of response from ActBlue's service desk and the additional request for a tip on top of the donation. Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.

I intended to donate $[redacted].00 to Cory Booker's campaign but preferred not to use ActBlue due to a previous issue. However, during the donation process, I noticed it was still going through ActBlue. I restarted the process only to end up receiving two email confirmations of $[redacted].00 donations each with different identification numbers, totaling $[redacted].00. I did not complete the transaction twice, so I am confused how they processed it twice. I have reached out to ActBlue twice about this error without receiving any acknowledgment or resolution. I simply want them to refund $[redacted].00.

I haven't been contacted yet regarding the issue I had with selecting the wrong donation amount. Instead of donating $45.45 under "other," I accidentally donated $2,[redacted], which is far more than I intended due to being on a limited income. I'm eager to confirm if this has been resolved promptly so I can proceed with my intended $45.45 donation for Andrew Yang's birthday. Kindly inform me via email before midnight tonight.

I accidentally made a contribution on Facebook without intending to, and there was no way to cancel it. I have been trying to reach out for the past two days with no response. Can you please reverse this transaction quickly? The ease of contributing without a cancellation option is concerning to me. Thank you for your $15.00 contribution receipt. Your support for our cause is greatly appreciated and vital in our mission to defeat the Republicans. We value your involvement with our team. Sincerely, The Stop Republicans Team Contribution Receipt: - Amount: $15.00 - Type: One-time contribution - Payment Method: MasterCard [redacted] - Order Date: 2/24/[redacted] For any inquiries or assistance, please contact us at [redacted]

I am confused as to why, after successfully donating to ActBlue multiple times using my Express account with all my details and credit card information saved, I am now unable to do so. Strangely, when I used the Express account for a technical support donation, it worked fine. However, when I tried to donate to a candidate, I had to re-enter all my information. I wish there was a real person available for customer support. This hindrance is making it difficult for me to efficiently donate to multiple candidates, and I may resort to mailing checks instead.

I made an online donation of $10 to ActBlue BOLD Democrats PAC on May 1. Soon after, Discover notified me that I exceeded my credit limit of $[redacted], and ActBlue thanked me for a $[redacted] donation. I've unsuccessfully tried contacting them by phone and email multiple times, receiving no response. I typically donate $5 or $10 only. It's urgent to correct the mistaken charge to $10 or remove it completely. To compound the issue, I'm now receiving calls from candidates thinking I'm a big donor. The longer this error persists, the more difficult it will become. The transaction details are Order # AB[redacted]72 processed on May 3.
