The issue in GetHuman-dgaeta's own words
I called Access A Ride on Nov. **rd to schedule a ride on Nov. **th to Regional Radiology on Staten Island. My appt at Regional was **pm. This was the first time I encountered automatic scheduling and was unable to speak to a live representative. I aksed to be picked up at **am to get to Regional. Instead, I was advised that I would be picked up at home at **:** and picked up at Regional for return trip at **:** pm. I was advised that MVP would pick me up, this is the first time that I was not given a phone number for the car company providing the ride. I was afraid that I may not even have been seen at Regional by **:**. I made several calls but was unable to speak to a live person but thought that might be due to the holiday weeked but this morning I was agains unsucessful in attempts to change the time so I cancelled my appt at Regional and cancelled Access A Ride and was advised by an automatic message that I would be penalized. I am ** y** with a slight hearing problem who lives alone and this system has proved to be too difficult for me. Thank You.
