I received an email claiming this was fixed. It’s. Not fixed! ***I have a case number : *********Zero six four six three eight zero nine. ** I’ve been with aol For twenty one years . I decided to pay for aol gold after they decided to Charge US – and everything was OK until July first when it said my credit card needed to be update. I was able to add my new card to the aol wallet, but the program would Not connect. I called aol. Spoke with Three departments. (and about ten different operators.)** After three days, I was Finally told the truth – There is a bug in the system stopping aol from being able to add new card info. Until their back end engineers can fix the issue, I can’t use aol gold.** Of course this was after most of their help lied to me, and kept asking for a new credit card, or wanted to confirm my info, or put me on hold for long periods at a time, wasting my time for absolutely no reason, when they knew there is a bug in their system.** At one point (last night), their Tech Dept said they couldn’t access my account and just hung up on me. WTF? This is totally unacceptable behavior from a company that should want to keep as many customers as possible (since most of them connect thru Comcast or Fios and really don’t need to keep an aol account to access the web like the old days of dial up.)** I seriously hope Someone at the Corporate office knows how bad things are and can fix this before losing more long time customers. I’ve been waiting three days for someone to fix the issue.**I called again today. Aol can not tell me what is being done to resolve the issue, or how long it will take. The operators do not get updates from the back end engineers, so if s customer calls back, there no way to give any updates or time frame to fix issues! I didn’t violate any rules to be banned. It’s a aol gold software issue!
