I have a Chase auto loan that I'm getting close to finishing. I wanted to know about the pay-off process, and how much is left if I paid it off today. While I have paid most of it, if I can avoid that last bit of interest at the end, I will. I couldn't quite figure out what that amount would be, so I decided to just call Chase and ask.
When I called, I was a bit caught off-guard when it said, "This call may be monitored and recorded, and your voice may be used for verification." I'm not sure how they could have my voice recorded already for verification, but I guess stranger things have happened. Then after that little science fiction-like introduction, it said, "Welcome to Chase Auto. If you are an auto finance customer, press 1. Dealer, press 2."
I pressed one since I am a customer and it gave me a new array of options. This time it said, "Please enter your account number or social security number, please enter your account number or your social security number. For general information on the lease, mailing address, or online options, press 2." I entered my social security number twice since I didn't have the account number but it didn't seem to recognize me. After the second time, it gave me a new set of options that helped me get to someone.
This time it said, "For online assistance press 1. For our mailing address press 2. To speak with a customer service specialist, press 0." I chose to speak with customer service and it asked me to hold. The hold was almost non-existent and I was connected right to Angela which I appreciated as she was helpful. While the directory took some time to navigate, within five minutes of talking to Angela I had my pay-out amount emailed to me.

GetHuman does not provide call center services or customer support operations for Chase Auto Finance. The two organizations are not related. GetHuman builds free tools, researches information, and shares tips and tricks from other consumers to help customers of companies like Chase Auto Finance. That can include tools such as our GetHuman Phone, which allows you to call a company but skip the part where you wait on the line to get a live human rep, or talk to a company's customer service operation for you. GetHuman believes that this fills an important gap between fragmented support models, makes the customer care experience more uniform, and even answers questions that businesses and agencies are reluctant to answer (but shouldn't be) - making the customer experience less confusing for all. We continue to work on these tools to help customers like you (and ourselves!) navigate the messy phone menus, hold times, and confusion with customer service. As long as you keep sharing it with others, we'll keep improving it.
