Closing Your Webull Account
You can close your Webull account using either your mobile device or your computer in a few easy steps.
Using Your Mobile Access to Close Your Account
To close your Webull account using your mobile device, do the following:
- Open the Webull app on your phone or tablet and log into your account.
- From the home screen, open the menu and select "Settings."
- Tap "Account & Security."
- Find and tap "Delete Account."
- Confirm you wish to delete your account.
Closing Your Account Using Your Computer
To close your Webull account using your computer, follow these steps:
- Open the Webull website and log into your account.
- Select "My Account" from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Choose "Manage My Account" from the options that appear.
- Click "Delete Account."
- Confirm you wish to delete the account and complete any authentication steps that may be required.
Important Information to Know
When you are closing your Webull account, be aware it can take up to 3 business days for the account to be fully closed. Information in the account will still be stored in Webull's database for tax reporting purposes for as long as required by the Internal Revenue Service and Webull's policies and procedures.
