How Do I Report a Claim to Wawanesa Insurance?

Wawanesa Insurance offers clients both auto insurance and residential insurance. If you have Wawanesa Insurance and need to report either kind of claim, you have a couple of different options. Read on to learn about them.

How To Report a Residential Claim to Wawanesa Insurance Online

If you need to report a residential insurance claim, whether for a Homeowners, Renters, or Condominium policy, follow these instructions:

1. Go to the Wawanesa Insurance home page.
2. Click on the My Account button in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Sign into your account.
4. Click on the Claims dropdown menu in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
5. Click on Submit Residential Claim in the menu.
6. Enter your name, phone number, and email address in the Your Information section.
7. Enter your Wawanesa Insurance policy number and the date and time of the loss you are reporting in the Loss Information section.
8. Describe the incident you are reporting in the "Tell us what happened?" text field.
9. Enter your policyholder information in the Wawanesa Policyholder Information section. If it is the same as the personal information you entered previously, click on the Same as Your Information checkbox.
10. Click on either the Yes or No button in the Police Report section.
11. If you clicked on the Yes button in the previous step, enter the name of the law enforcement agency you filed the report with, the case number you were assigned, and the address and phone number for the law enforcement agency in the appropriate text fields.
12. Click on either the Yes or No button in the Mortgagee section.
13. If you clicked on the Yes button in the previous step, enter the information for all of your mortgages.
14. Click on the Continue button.
15. Follow any further instructions you are given to complete the reporting process.

How To Report an Automobile Claim to Wawanesa Insurance Online

If you need to report an auto insurance claim, follow these instructions:

1. If you believe that the damage you are filing a report for is minor, take some pictures of it with your phone. If Wawanesa Insurance agrees that it is a minor claim, your photos can be used to give you an estimate. If the company does not agree, you will be given instructions.
2. Go to the Wawanesa Insurance home page.
3. Click on the My Account button in the upper right-hand corner.
4. Sign into your account.
5. Click on the Claims dropdown menu in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
6. Click on Submit Automobile Claim in the menu.
7. If your claim is just for auto glass, click on the Create Auto Glass Claim button. If your claim is not solely for auto glass, click on the No button under the "Is this claim for auto glass only?" button.
8. Enter the required information, including the time and date of the loss and a description of the incident.
