How do I add value to my SmarTrip card?

You can add value to your SmarTrip card by visiting any Metro station fare machine or Metro sales office. At the fare machine, select "Add Value" and follow the on-screen instructions to add money to your card using cash or credit/debit cards. You can also set up AutoReload online to automatically add value to your card when the balance falls below a certain amount. Additionally, you can add value to your SmarTrip card at select retail locations and commuter stores. Be sure to register your card to protect your balance in case your card is lost or stolen.
