What facilities are available for passengers with disabilities?

Asked a year ago
Virgin Rail is committed to providing a comfortable and accessible travel experience for passengers with disabilities. Our trains are equipped with facilities to accommodate different mobility requirements, such as accessible seating, priority spaces for wheelchair users, and accessible toilets. Passengers with disabilities can also benefit from our assistance services. Our dedicated staff are available to help with boarding and alighting from the train, as well as with luggage. We recommend contacting our assisted travel team 24 hours in advance to ensure a smooth journey and allow us to make necessary arrangements. Additionally, all our station staff receive disability awareness training to ensure they can provide appropriate support. We also offer accessible ticketing options, including discounts for disabled passengers, and accessible information through our website and helpline. We strive to create an inclusive travel experience and welcome feedback to continuously improve our services for passengers with disabilities.
