What services are available for individuals with disabilities?
Asked a year ago
UTA is committed to providing accessible transportation services for individuals with disabilities. We offer several services to ensure their mobility needs are met. Our fixed-route buses and trains are equipped with lifts or ramps for wheelchair boarding, and our entire fleet is ADA accessible. Additionally, we offer paratransit services called UTA OnDemand that cater to eligible riders who are unable to use fixed-route service due to their disabilities. UTA also provides Travel Training programs to help individuals with disabilities learn how to navigate the public transportation system independently. We strive to create an inclusive and accessible transportation system, ensuring that everyone can travel comfortably and conveniently throughout the Utah region.
