Before you proceed to check the status of your claim, you should know if you are eligible to receive the benefits in the first place. You need to meet these eligibility requirements for you to be able to claim the benefits.

Some of the requirements include that you should be able to work, be searching for another job and have worked in the state. Most importantly, you should have lost your previous job through no fault of your own.
