Who needs a TV License?

Asked 6 months ago
In the UK, anyone who watches or records live TV broadcasts or uses BBC iPlayer, regardless of the device or platform, needs a TV License. It applies to watching television programs on a TV set, computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, games console, digital box, DVD/VHS recorder, or through any other means. This is a legal requirement mandated by the government to fund the BBC's services and programs. Even if you only watch non-BBC channels or streaming services, a TV License is still necessary if you watch or record live television. Failure to obtain a TV License when required can result in fines or legal penalties. It is important to ensure compliance with the TV Licensing regulations to avoid any legal issues.
