What are the different rate plans offered?

South Carolina Electric & Gas Co (SCE&G) offers various rate plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers. We provide three main rate options: the Standard Plan, Time-of-Use Plan, and the Renewable Energy Rate Plan. The Standard Plan offers a fixed rate per kilowatt-hour (kWh) throughout the day, providing consistent pricing for residential and commercial customers. The Time-of-Use Plan varies the rate based on peak and off-peak hours, encouraging customers to shift energy usage outside of peak demand periods. This plan rewards flexibility and efficiency. Lastly, our Renewable Energy Rate Plan enables customers to support clean energy by purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates.
