What kind of film does a Polaroid camera use?

Asked a year ago
Polaroid cameras use a unique type of film known as instant film or Polaroid film. This film consists of light-sensitive chemicals and layers that are housed inside a cartridge. When a photo is taken, the camera ejects the film, and the chemicals react to create a visible image instantly. Polaroid cameras have gone through various film formats over the years, but the most common ones available today are the 600 film and the i-Type film. Both types produce colorful, high-quality prints with different frame styles and finishes. The 600 film is compatible with vintage Polaroid cameras and instant film cameras, while the i-Type film works with newer models such as the OneStep 2 and Now cameras.
